Pr 6:
Being lazy and not working is not wise. It could be a sin. Work while you can. Ec 9:6 Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. 7 Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, 8 she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. 9 How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, 11and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.
Pr 12 was getting more serious:10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.
Jeremiah was against procrastination in 48:24 The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.
When it comes to accepting Jesus, it is a really bad idea to delay the decision. James 4:10a Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD with slackness.
The Bible does not clearly spell out that procrastination is a sin. However, James 4:13 Listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
If your conscience convicts you, then it is a sin.17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
