If you're convicted by playing it, then maybe the Holy Spirit is telling you that you should not play the game. If you don't feel guilty by all means play. Do what you feel is right according to your faith and according to the Word.
IMO, I think watching people die on the screen hundreds of times is a negative thing. It makes us less sensitive to death. When people die it should not be a happy, funny, or good thing. That's why I don't play.

I think that a lot of "sin" has to do with your mindset while you play it. When people eat, They do not sin by eating. And yet by over eating they sin.

When I play video games, I tend to really get into them. It really doesn't take much to get my angry at other players when playing Halo: Reach. I tend to start swearing and cursing people out when things don't go the way i want them to. I end spending the rest of the day mad at everyone. Yea, I get into my video games. :)

I think that I need to learn how to view video games in a different way. For me, I start sinning when I play video games.

In my opinion, its not a black/white thing. The video game isn't the thing that should be questioned, you are.

Not a sin. Just harmful because you're killing. What you kill ends up haunting you in your dreams and eventually extends to your everyday life.

As a matter of fact, I'm planning on getting such a game. The only difference is there will be repentance of bloodshed.
