Breaking Benjamin have produced some awesome music, and reletable songs over the years. They are one of the most popular modern Rock bands.

Would you consider them a Christian band?

Their past three albums have had loads of religious/christian style songs. Especially the album, "Dark Before Dawn", and their newest, "Ember." They've released songs like, "Without You", "Ashes of Eden" and more, that are undoubtedly about God.

In an interview with the band's lead singer, Ben Burnley, and former drummer Chad Szeliga, They were asked if they believe in God, to which Ben responds by saying that he does believe in God, and credits Him for the band's success. Chad Szeliga is VERY open about his faith, as well as the band's fromer bassist, Mark Klepaski.

The band even helped write a few songs for the Christian Rock band RED. Example: "Shadows."

Along the new lineup of band members, the lead guitarist is now Jasen Rauch, former guitarist for RED. He is very open about his faith.

The band also went on tour with Christian Rock bands, Skillet, RED, and Thousand Foot Kructh, back in 2009.

Now, I know many of their older songs were not Christian related, and their first album, "Saturate" CERTAINLY was not. But where the band is now, would call them a Christian Band?

"Christian" isn't the first thing I think of when I hear "Blow Me Away" (and that's about the extent of my knowledge of their music- love that song, though).

When I think of "Christian Rock", I think of the stuff I hear when flipping through the stations on my radio- not something as "catchy" and well-produced as BB (I'm not really a fan of modern Christian music, though).

I do kinda agree. That's a problem I find with most modern Christian music. While I like Skillet, I am not a huge fan of them because I tend to find most their songs "Cheesy", and not really catchy. Their songs are often straightforward as far as Christian music goes. They don't really write a whole lot of relatable songs in my opinion.

They are not a Christian band. If they can't sing about Jesus, or his sacrifice at Calvary shedding his blood for the remission of our sins then it is not Christian.

New Age songs are usually about some faceless, nameless deity that could be Male, female or androgenous or treating the heavens (universe) like it has some sentience or power.
