My wife and I are devout Christians and are retired.

We both enjoy intimacy but because it has become a physical issue with her and painful, she obviously had no interest anymore.

As a Christian, what options would have that would avoid sin? Masturbation?

A gynecological exam will most likely give her why there is pain and come up with solutions.

Been there. Dryness. Nothing we’ve tried has worked!

I suspect she has 'interest' but also pain. So no joy.

As a Christian, what options would have that would avoid sin? Masturbation?

You hang out with her. You wait for her. You seek out good medical care for her. You don't go masturbating. That's not faithful to her.
