Hi there,

So I have a substitute faith for Evolution: if God likes me bit by bit, in the end I will be what He wanted me to be.

It's not complicated, it just suggests that the struggle to be Christian, comes with a commitment to the end.

The world may say "you are what God wants you to be already" but that is a lie!

The whole point is, if I am straying from God's calling, I need to repent - God won't like me until my repentance is sincere.

Devotion to God, is sincere.

("Faith is the substance, of things not seen" letters, from memory)

the struggle to be Christian, comes with a commitment to the end.

There are two comitments.
gods unswerving commitment to you, that loving you even when you hated him, he sent Jesus to save you.

and your commitment to show your love for Jesus through your obedience to his commands.

"If God likes me bit by bit," maybe back this up by His word?[...]

"He who comes to Me, I will no wise cast out."

"Forgive your brother up to seventy times seven."

"He who is not against us, is for us"

- from memory, the Gospels.
