Ice skating

Any thoughts on what it may mean to dream of someone ice skating? The person is a single woman from church. I don't know if she ice skates in waking hours & I don't have any more detail.

Some of my thoughts sofar:
- being kept on ice for something
- getting on top of something that is cold & become hardened & turning it into something artistic & beautiful
- moving with ease - less effort - grace, grace-fulness

The expression "skating through life" comes to mind and does point directly to the ease with which they go through it. As, you already know, it would depend on how she "felt" in the dream and the remaining details.

The dream may be a reference to you or some creative gifting within you (symbolized by the woman) moving with ease & grace over spiritual coldness. So you may be in, or perhaps entering into, a season in which others present a cold spiritual atmosphere or are unaccepting of you during which you may feel quite alone (single).. But the Lord is showing you that you will glide over this with ease (depending on how easily the woman was skating in the dream of course). With that said, was she 'gliding' over the surface, or was she constantly falling down & unsteady?

PS.. creative giftings vary and may represent a gift of love, creativity, prophecy, healing, helps, music, word of knowledge, etc etc..

I have been in a season at church for a while where I feel my key giftings didn't fit. This sub-form has been such a blessing to provide an opportunity to use & bless others with what the Lord hs given me.

And you have been such a blessing to us all FW. I know you know this, but each body part is needed in the church even if it doesn't feel like it is. Maybe the Lord has called you to step aside to "fully" rest just for awhile...give yourself some more time, you have been through so much. Even when we think we are ready to go back out there, He knows the right time and then things will run more smoothly again.

It must be difficult at times for a strong/tender man of God to share his emotions. Sometimes God reveals our heart thru dreams where we feel safe to share. We all need that outlet.

You also may want to look up the meaning of the woman's name. Sometimes for me I have dreams with people I know in it, but when I look up the meaning of their name I see it wasn't talking about them specifcally, but that the meaning of their name is part of the dreams message.
