Peace in Christ.
We are to be His “many infallible proofs” to this world that Jesus is indeed alive as we shall continue to live in this earth with an age-lasting life (aka "eternal life").
We shall not mortally perish (like the many Christians before us) but will continue to live in this earth….showing this world that Jesus is indeed alive as we shall stay alive. As He lives, we shall live in this world.
We are to be the “few” ….the vessels of His mercy…. as compared to the “MANY” vessels of His wrath that mortally perished from this earth.
We are to be His unquestionable proofs (unquestionable signs) to this world as we shall never mortally perish from this earth. Having an age-lasting life (aka “eternal life) in this mortal body is a powerful sign to this dark and dying world that Jesus is indeed alive.
Act 1:1-3 KJV
(1) The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
(2) Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
We are also to speak to this world the things pertaining to the kingdom/government of God.
(3) To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
That would be the “Great commission”….to speak of the things pertaining to the kingdom/government of God.
All power is given unto His Son and He shall reign until He puts down all of man’s authority and rule and power….and the nations are to be taught this. This is the gospel of His kingdom/government coming to this earth. They are to be taught to observe all the commandments of the Lord who has power over the nations of this earth. He will be with us unto the end of this age (the word is “age” and not “world”)…for we shall have an age-lasting life to the very end.
Mat 28:18-20 KJV
(18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
(20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world (AGE). Amen.
He that endures unto the end (of this age), the same shall be saved.
Mat 24:13-14 KJV
(13) But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
The “Great Commission” of those who have an age-lasting life is to preach the good news of His kingdom/government to all nations of this world.
(14) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
We...the few... shall be the very “elect” chosen by Him to bring together all things in this earth in Christ.
We…who are Christ the firstfruits…shall never mortally die. We come alive in our mortal bodies (now) which shall not perish but shall be kept standing here in this earth by the power of God through the cross of Christ. This is known as the “first resurrection.”
1Co 15:22-26 KJV
(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
We…His many infallible proofs…shall rule with Him as He shall put down all rule and all authority and power in this earth. Then the end of this age comes when He shall deliver up all of man’s conquered (by Him) authority to the government/kingdom of God.
(24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
(25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
(26) The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
But before all of this happens, His servants must be sealed first.
Rev 7:2-4 KJV
(2) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
(3) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
(4) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Before we rule with Him (by gathering together in one all things in Christ, both of which are in Heaven and which are on the earth), we are to first hear His Word of Truth…the good news of our salvation… and BELIEVE in what we hear Him saying to us in the Spirit of truth. This is how we are sealed....our BELIEF...in the hearing of His voice. His knowledge is the "meat" that we are to "labor" for...by believing on God whom sends His Son to speak to us via the Spirit of Truth.
Joh 6:27-29 KJV
(27) Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life (AGE-LASTING LIFE), which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
(28) Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
(29) Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
We shall not mortally perish like the many Christians before us (the wrath of God came upon those “children of disobedience.”) They were the vessels of His wrath. They were the "flock of the slaughter"....the "generation of wrath." We, though, who hear and believe in the Word of Truth...the truth of the gospel...the gospel of our salvation which is for the here-and-now shall have our part with Him in gathering all things in Him,
Eph 1:9-14 KJV
(9) Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
(10) That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
We obtain an inheritance …an age-lasting life…in order to assist the Lord in gathering together all things in Him.
(11) In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
After we hear the good news of our mortal salvation (inheriting an age-lasting life in this earth in this mortal body) and BELIEVE, we are then SEALED with that Holy Spirit of THE “promise”. What is that “promise”? the promise of an age-lasting life (aka “eternal life”). 1 John 2:25 .
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
That is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of His glory.
(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
At the time of the redemption of the purchased possession (our mortal body), we shall put on immortality. This “mortal”…which never has died…shall then put on immortality at the very end of this age…at the last trump moment.
1Co 15:52-55 KJV
(52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
(54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
But, at the time when we are all together in one mind and one body in Christ Jesus, we shall judge the world with Him. The world will be judged only when ALL of the firstfruits are made alive with an age-lasting life. They are all sealed first....they are the few that will hear and believe in the gospel of their salvation which was not being preached in the truth by earthly-minded men.
1Co 6:2 KJV
(2) Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
