Hey everyone,
At dinner tonight, I decided to try a Bourbon. Afterwards, I have been a bit clumsy, and a tad more absent-minded and loose in thoughts.

I think I'm okay, but I just want to ask, how intoxicated does one have to be, in order for it to be sinful?

It's a sin if you risk people's lives by driving while intoxicated or if you intentionally drink to get drunk. But if you only have a couple of drinks and you don't drive then that wouldn't be a sin.

I think drinking to excess is a sin. Just like overeating or whatever. It is one thing to get a buzz but to get drunk is never recommended. Never endanger yourself or others. Having one bourbon is not a sin. Drinking alcohol always makes one feel more relaxed or loose. That is why many drink it. But there are many things to take into account and it may vary for each person. How it affects you, your life, and those around you.

I am a citizen of Heaven and therefore, have diplomatic immunity regarding how much I drink or how fast I drive my turbo charged roadster. A gift from above where there is no shifting shadow no matter how fast I enjoy His beautiful gift!

The brown stuff(whiskies) will make you mean! So drink sparingly and only with friends. The clear stuff, vodka, gin, blanco tequila(top shelf only) is always cool and will not cause a hangover as long as you drink it straight on the rocks or up. Club soda will cause no harm.

Drinking mixed drinks should be done sparingly as they will give you a mean hangover.

Beer is ok but don't mix with other alcohols, or to much, as then it becomes mean and brown.

And by all means, NEVER mix rum with any other alcohol! If your drinking rum drinks, stick with rum drinks. If your drinking vodka or gin drinks stick to same. Mix rum with any other alcohol and you won't remember a thing! Long Island Ice Tea is psychotic!

Good advice from your uncle Bill.

Drinking to the point where it may endanger yourself or a third-party or to such a level that it involves a significantly increased risk of committing other grave sins as a direct result of lack of self control due to intoxination would be sinful in and of itself.

1 beer will do that by human laws, sooo

I think that's Sketchers poorly convoluted way of promoting a totally unbiblical protestant and ideological mantra in our haven.
