Melchizedek or Malki-tzédek (מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק / מַלְכִּי־צָדֶק, Standard Hebrew Malki-ẓédeq / Malki-ẓádeq, Tiberian Hebrew Malkî-ṣéḏeq / Malkî-ṣāḏeq), sometimes written Malchizedek, Melchisedec, Melchisedech, Melchisedek or Melkisedek, is a figure mentioned by various sects of both Christian and Judaic traditions.

In Romanian we use the Melchisedec form and we pronounce it like: Mehl - Kee - Se - Deck (se as in second)

I've always said "mel-KEEZ-uh-dek" but said it quick enough that it could be heard "mel-KIZ-uh-dek" because I've heard it said both ways.

In the LXX (Septuagint text), it is Μελχισεδέκ, with the accent falling on the last syllable. But of course, this is a hellenized version of the original Hebraic name and, like all languages, there will be a variation in both spelling and pronunciation. As seen in the post above, there are even Hebrew variations, which in most cases account for the tribe or region in which the name was used.
