Hit the wall

I’m almost 50. It hurts hearing men say that women hit the wall (which means get ugly) around 35-40. It also hurts to hear that men don’t want to date us because we can no longer have babies. It’s like I’m useless now. No one will ever want me.

I used to hear from others that I was pretty a lot and now if I tell someone my feelings hurt because I was called ugly no one says anything to refute that.

It is kind of the way life is, we get older and we change and areas in our lives change. We age and are simply not like we were in our 18 to 30's years of age. It is just not you, you may notice it more being that you are looking at yourself.

But i am close to 60 never married and i just try to make the best of the life i have. I do have visual art interest which helps as there is always a painting to paint. So this keeps me focused on that task, so i do not just sit around watching time and age pass by.

I'm 45 and I find women in their 40s to still be attractive. Sure they don't look like they did in their 20s, but neither do I.

And I don't believe that guys my age or older who still want kids either have really through it through or are expecting the woman to do all the work. Do they really intend to be running around after kids in their 60s?

I'd happily date someone who couldn't have kids. One of the difficulties I've encountered with trying to meet women my age online is that looking at late 30s/early 40s is where you run into the women who are trying to start a family before it's too late. It's been very difficult trying to find someone that age who doesn't have kids and doesn't want them.
