Whew, another catchy tune by TobyMac. I like the indie rock vibes in this fused with Gospel/soul, as indie rock is in my top favorite music genres. Also, the song seems to be inspired by Hebrews 13:6, as the Lord is our helper.

Hebrews 13:6 (NIV): "So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?'"

Agreed 100%. And hey, sometimes God may wait years to help us, but we must have faith. Plus, if we do not get help in this lifetime, know that when we pass away into heaven as Christians, we will be with Jesus, as we are saved by Jesus on the cross.
