Hal Lindsey, a teacher of biblical prophecy who wrote the bestselling book The Late Great Planet Earth, has died two days after turning 95.

The home page of Lindsey’s news and commentary website, known as “The Hal Lindsey Report,” posted a photo of the author and End Times expert, noting that he died on Monday.

RIP to Hal, I remember reading that book when I was younger, and a friend also read it and was quite into it. Also watched his TV show from time to time over the years. I bet he helped win a lot of souls for Christ, and I can't think of much better to say about anyone than that.

RIP to Hal, I remember reading that book when I was younger, and a friend also read it and was quite into it. Also watched his TV show from time to time over the years. I bet he helped win a lot of souls for Christ, and I can't think of much better to say about anyone than that.

When I read that book it scared the tar out of me. I was a kid though.

I read his book, "There's A New World Coming," back in the late 1970's.

I gave it to a priest friend to read and he wrote commentary on it. He said that Lindsey's interpretation of
The Book of Revelation was wrong, and the priest was right. Nothing came about according to Lindsey's
interpretation. In fact, the Soviet Union ceased to exist.

Anyway, RIP Hal Lindsey!

I bought the book in 1971 when I was still unsaved. The read was instrumental in my being saved. Bless the man Lord.
