The Apocalypse, starring Richard Harris.
This is well worth renting/buying. A faithful (even though fictionalized) drama based on John being imprisoned on Patmos, interwoven with his visions of the Book of Revelation. Harris is quite good, and this is definitely one of the better Christian movies I've seen, even if some of the acting and sets are low-budget (it's a TV movie) and the CGI is not first-rate. It assumes John the Revelator is the author of the Gospel.
