Golden Eyes

Right now in life, I'm lacking a lot of things. I am slowly getting my relationship back with Jesus. It seems like small baby steps, but everything takes time. Anyways I had a dream a few days ago.
In real life I have very dark brown eyes, very pretty eyes.
Anyways I dreamn't I was standing before myself. In my dream my eyes were golden tan or a coppery brass color, I can't really describe the eye color. My eye color was unique, and in my dream I turned away from myself and walked away and then I woke up.
Somehow I keep thinking this dream is connected to Jesus or am I just being silly?? Because that day I had that dream, I found Jesus through the Christian Message Board here and been drawn to it ever since. Does anyone know what this dream means?? Or was it just a dream.

Wow RF! What an awe-inspiring dream! Am sure you have heard that 'the lamp of the body is the eye' and 'the eyes are the window to one's soul'. The Bible speaks about if one's eye is good, then their whole body will be full of light (full of goodness)! I read that the eye of the soul is one's will, so because you have now come back to Christ, your will and soul are His, your are filled with Him, devoted to Jesus, to pleasing Him, to doing good! Hence the golden twinkle in your eyes!

Your walking away seems to exhort...don't forget whose you are...loved much by your Lord...to be His instrument of blessing and example of true righteousness!

Dunno if you been through some tough times, though God will work them for good by refining and strengthening your faith, making your life a testimony all for His glory!

To clarify, gold could well represent Jesus, Christian character, and genuine faith as these Scriptures confirm...

Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Matthew 6:22 The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.

Ephesians 5:8-10 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

1 Timothy 4:12 ...be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

James 1:22-25 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

1 Peter 1:6-7 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Wow HumbleBee I am breathless of what I just read by what you wrote. I remember hearing the phrase, "the lamp of the body is the eye" but it was years ago for me. And yes I have been through very tough times in my life, especially in the last ten years. Your message just enlightened my heart even more to Jesus Christ. I feel more peaceful now after I read what you wrote. I believe Jesus is speaking through you. The scriptures made me smile and think what I can do better now as a servant to the Lord. Did I mention that I am getting my Associates Degree in Theology, and one day obtaining my Masters to become a Missionary or Youth Minister or Minister. I haven't decided yet, but I chose this path a year ago in College even though at that time I had no connection with Christ that I am slowly getting back now. I am beginning to see how God works.
HumbleBee, how can I even thank you besides saying Thank You!! After reading what you wrote, my experience with Christ grew deeper and I am experiencing a good feeling in my heart as I type this. Truly God spoke through you!! Godbless you!! And may Jesus bless you!! Thank You!!
