God gave me freedom from addiction, but what happens if we go back in sin?

I haven't felt this amazing since the day I became a believer in 2018. Of course we all have free will and can fall into sin again.

I read in the Bible about warning about using the grace as God to live in sin, will God ever stop regeneration or sanctification? I don't want to play games with the creator of the Universe. I know God is real, because how can my addictions go away all of a sudden the day I asked God for help, and he filled me with euphoria as I prayed and read the Bible.

if you believed in Jesus for God's free gift of Eternal Life salvation. You immediately cross over from death to life and can not cross back over to death from life (now this is spiritual death and life not physical)

Now if you have cleaned up your life which is not a requirement to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life. That is good, the warning in The Bible about falling back into sin is a warning that now as a born again child of God. If you do. you will break fellowship with God your Father. You may very well experience God's discipline in your life, God may even let the sin take your life or God make take it Himself, before your appointed time to die.

Example the believers at the Corinthian church who died because of their attitude (being drunk, etc..) at the Lords Supper meal. Also Ananias and Sapphira who had their earthly life taken from them immediately for lying to the Holy Spirit.

already thinking about that now? You must being tempted. Watch yourself. Don’t bad companions. Being alone with Jesus is better than lots of friends addicted to drugs. You could lose your soul. Take those thoughts captive and they won’t hurt you, as in 2Cor 10:3-5.

Use your free will as a Christian, and not fall into sin anymore !

I think in most cases, if not all, the man gives up on God, rather than God giving up on the man.

If it’s your drug of choice it could be a long road back and it could kill you. I had a cousin 8 months clean let down his guard and took some fentanyl , overdosed and he is no longer with us. Too common. Another friend selling fentanylkilled two people, in jail. Be strong the devil roams about as a lion seeking who he may devour. Best to be strong. Use Gods tools he will keep you safe. Get through the tough times and don’t play around. What a wonderful gift God has given you, your freedom your life back. Do you think you could actually destroy that through whimsy or weakness? Don’t dwell on such a thing. God is kind God is good. Take thoughts captive as in 2Cor 10:3-5 To fight the urge. Be victorious.

i had a buddy quit drinking and never went back to it. He got strong. Did well.

Sin (transgression of the law) is caused by the influence from satan .... only God has the power to thwart satans deceptions ... we by ourselves are powerless against satan .... and yes often we repeat our sins but God keeps helping us to overcome them .... we should be progressing away from sin (transgression of the law) not towards it.

The sanctification (washing/cleansing) of the Lord continues throughout our earthly lifetime unless we choose to walk away from Him permanently and constantly refuse the counsel/conviction of the Holy Spirit ... only the Lord knows if this happens ... only the Lord knows the heart.

Watching Inappropriate content can destroy your communion with God, God freed me of this addiction it has been years since i last watched any of that, we need to stop this addiction at all cost i doubt i was saved when i watched that. Smoking cigarettes is harmful for the health, but is not a too serious sin in itself imo, drugs however mess with you spiritually too.
