Been listening to the Gaithers a bit the last few months. Very good harmonies and great music! Are these guys Baptists or does anybody know what denomination they are from?

Well I know they are on TBN a lot and do a lot with them, so I would think they are more pentacostal/charismatic in background.

They are Non-Denominational, but lean towards Baptists. Mark Lowery even jokes with Bill in one of his comedy routines about Bill not raising his hand because ppl would think they were Pentecostal.
Actually, they perform Southern Gospel.
But my favorite video is "Mountain Homecoming."

I viewed their dvd - Toronto Homecoming. It was great. I think I watched it about 5 times. I really loved the song 'Jerusalem' by the Hoppers.

There are a lot of good groups out there. Here So Cal we can hear the R S V and you can hear them on the internet . The are Nazarene and I am not , but they are still are very good.

I love the Gaithers! The only problem I have with them is their cd's/dvd's and their homecomings are so expensive to go to! I don't agree with that all, but I do really enjoy their music. They all sound so great together. Mark Lowry is definitely my favorite. Guy Penrod needs a haircut though. Did anyone ever tell him he looks like a girl?
