At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I can see why young men are deciding to opt out of marriage and children. The risk of divorce and financial ruin is bad enough, but who wants to risk bringing children into a cultural mess like this???

I can't say how I would handle a situation like this if it were my children. I just don't know. I would pray a lot, no doubt. But I just don't know. I thank God that I'm an old baby-boomer, that I have a solid marriage with a good woman, and that my child is grown. I don't believe I would do well trying to prepare a child for life in this toxic sewer of a culture.

They just want to stuff money in their pocket. Most people do not care what they do for money. There is a book called: "What would Jesus do" (In His Steps) that deals with that exact subject. The book challenges readers to consider how their actions align with their faith and values.

Most people know what they are doing is wrong. But for whatever reason they do it anyways. But a time will come for them to pay the piper.
