I came to tell the people the truth. I was about to join a fraternity, but found out that there was more to it than I thought. Before I started pledging I thought the fraternity was only about helping the community and making the society better. This is what most fraternities and Sororities will tell you before you are chosen to become a part of their organization. And, yes you have to be voted in to become a part of most fraternities and sororities, so I will start there. I witnessed from discrimination to abomination while I was pledging. I watched some of the brothers say that they didn’t pick certain people because of their appearance or how they carried themselves. I watch the brothers lead people on while they had no intentions to put them in the organization. God takes us no matter what, he doesn’t care about your appearance or how other people perceive you. God loves the people so much he gives everybody the opportunity to serve him (and God sacrificed his son Jesus for you). There are no specific requirements to join the army of the lord. I am not speaking from what I heard. I am speaking from what is written, and you can pick up the holy bible just about anywhere. There is no secret about what Jesus will do and has done. While I was pledging, I was beaten and called all different types of names, and I was constantly ridiculed. Oh yes, I bring the truth. There are a lot of people who go through this process but they are brain washed into thinking it makes them a better person. However, there are some who are too embarrassed to talk about it. They often even look back at it and consider it fun or funny. I also took part in different rituals that I didn’t quite understand, until the Holy Spirit open my eyes. I started looking up the different symbols and rituals only to find out that they were indeed SATANIC. YES, SATANIC, See the devil doesn’t want you to know he is in the midst of those occults. The bible says the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:9-11). When somebody comes to steal that person doesn’t want you to know he is stealing, and your probably asking yourself what is he stealing and destroying, He is stealing and destroying your SOULLLLLLLLL. Satan wants you to argue that your Fraternity or Sorority is not an Occult or does not honor different gods (II Cor. 11:13-15). WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SATAN is keeping you from the blessings of JESUS. When I told the brothers what the symbols they use stood for, they were blind to the facts. You can’t serve Jesus and honor others gods (often Pagan Gods with frat/sor). The bible teaches us that you are entertaining nothing more than DEMONS!!!!!!!!!!! DEMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I Cor 10:19-21) I left the fraternity before I could finish and it was hard. I felt I had to prove that I could make it through the process and become one of them; however, I CANNOT SELL MY SOUL. YES!! This is what your doing. Anytime you have came into the knowledge but decide to IGNORE the facts, you are telling god he is not worth your own desire. WAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!! UP!!!!!!!! PEOPLE the times are coming to an end. Satan is coming slicker than ever. He knows his time is very short, don’t let him take from you what he doesn’t have, which is an OPPORTUNITY TO BE WITH JESUS. God said he would give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 16:19). SATAN IS VERY UPSET HE DOESN”T HAVE THAT OPPORTUNITY. It grieves my heart that people will think of anything to make it seem like their fraternity is so innocent, but in truth if it was, it would not be a fraternity or a secret society. The Day of Judgment is coming; so don’t let the devil have joy by tormenting your Soul. DON’T IGNORE THE FACTS IF YOU SEE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG GET OUT!!!!!!!!!! BEFORE IT’S TO LATE!!!!!!!!!! JESUS WARNED US OF THESE TIMES (Matthew 24).

Ps. I wanted to put a list of some of the Pagan gods, so people could see for themselves; however, there are a lot of websites that offer the information, just type in pagan gods in a search engine and you will find a lot of information, don’t let the devil fool you anymore, GET OUT!!! Jesus is waiting on you with open arms. There is no secret about that.

i didn't come to tell christians that they are wrong for joing a fraternity/sorority. I came to show them why its wrong and The bible backs it up. You see, some people don't know. God said my people parish because of lack of knowledge. I am only telling chrisitians to get out of satans trap.

can i tell you how judgemental you are and you don't realize it? you said you aren't judging but say its wrong- um hello, many great christians minister to others through greek organizations.

the point is, if its not for you, then don't do it. but do not condemn everyone else that is ok with it. my dear dear friend kari joined a sorority her freshman year (she is a year younger and in a different sorority). she ran for chaplain of her rush class and go it. then she ran for chaplain of the sorority. she lead a bible study weekly and shared the gospel with some girls who hadn't heard it before. they have since accepted christ into their hearts to reign as lord and savior of their lives. sure seems like that is where god wanted my friend kari to be dont you think?

or should we all live in a bubble and only fraternize with like minded christians?

my friend, i didn't come to argue, but these are the words of our god. read the scriptures that I posted. The bible teaches us not to be unevenly yoked (2 cor 6:14) you can minister to people without joining their organization. If I told a Person who was Wiccan that the gods they honored is not the true god, do i have to join there Occult to do so, NO. The truth of the matter is, I have not judged one person, for the word of god itself will do so. There are a lot of people who do wrong things but don't know, but once you come into the knowledge you are accountable. Chrisitians join Greek Life and don't know, but once the Holy Spirit Reveals to you satans devices we must take heed. I prayed while I was pledging and god revealed this to me. The scriptures are right in the holy bible. I wanted to be in a fraternity bad; I had made all types of excuses on why I should go through with the process and be apart of the frat. I can only hope that god will work on your heart.

Sixth Sense, I think you are misinterpretting that verse...

If we can't be involved with unbelievers, then I guess I should quit my job, stop using my grocery store, no longer work out at my gym, drop out of school, etc, because most of these activities have me right in the midst of unbelievers who I fellowship with on a daily basis. There is nothing wrong with being involved with a group of unbelievers. Blanton is right...what an AWESOME mission field!

That being said, not all frats/sororities are like you mentioned and to put a blanket statement that they are satanic is going way overboard. Yes, I know there are some things that go on with *some* greek life that are less than desired, but not all are this way. You are being quick to judge something that isn't necessarily true.

Greek Life isn't for everyone...but don't condemn those that it is for! Believe it or not, I think there are ways that greek life can help you grow spiritually, but that is my personal opinion.

Well, if you go to a job interview with a PhD. and years of experience, but are wearing boxers and flip flops, your potential employer is going to take into account how you look and carry yourself. So I can't blame them there.
My dislike of "greek" life is for completely different reasons. I equate "I'm in a fraternity/sorority" with "I have sex with multiple partners and drink myself into oblivion as often as possible." I think associating with those institutions hurts your reputation.

Sometimes it hurts me that people are so blind, or that they just don't want to accept the facts. I know we are among the unbelievers every day, we are also among satan and his demons, but that does not give us a reason to join their organizations. Please read the scriptures i posted, the Holy Spirit has spoke. When moses went up into the mountains, he came back with the ten commandments only to see that the people had created another god. Man(sighing) I know he was hurt. Most Frat/Sor honor Pagan gods this is an abomination, and anything that is a secret organization is an occult. Hopefully god will open your eyes, but you have been warned.

Pull out your holy bible and the hand book to a Frat/Sor and I promise they will conflict. They will not support each other somewhere one of the books will be inconsistant with the other.

I just hate to see people held back from so many blessings because they refuse knowledge.

The lord has so many blessing for you people, but how can he bless you when you refuse to listen to his Word. People will say anything so they can feel more comfortable sinning. I have only told you whats in the bible and what the holy spirit wants you to hear.

Thank you SS for making this post. I do hope those considering this will think twice before doing it for all the wrong reasons, explicitly because they feel that the L-rd wants them there. Hellenization is the downfall of this present world, it was when Jesus walked the earth and still is today. But sadly most do not recognize it.





If you aren't "elected" into one sorority or another, aren't you considered an outcast? To me that would be great because I would equate that with being set apart and that is what the L-rd calls us to be, set apart unto him, separate from what the rest of the world is doing. For those that believe that they are a good thing because they can minister in them , what makes you think that cannot be done in any other way?



Are not all things possible with G-d? To me the greatest witness you could have is to not join in the worldly ways that the campus follows, but be set apart in your beliefs and walk in the ways of the L-rd and not of the world.
