Ex-Kansas police chief, three others guilty of child porn production​

Joel Womochil, the former Burns police chief, faced almost three dozen charges at one point. He resigned as police chief on Aug. 8, 2023, eight days before he was charged.

Last week, U.S. District Judge John Broomes sentenced him to 60 years in prison and restitution of $529,050.

Jessica Lynn Quave pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sexual exploitation of a child – production of child pornography. Other counts were dropped. [30 years]

Taylor Mullen​

Taylor Mullen pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit sexual exploitation of a child – production of child pornography. He has not been sentenced yet.
