Dream of a peacock flying to me and snuggling up to me.

I had a dream two nights ago. It was a pleasant dream I was looking at the sky and then I saw several peacocks flying.

I never knew that peacocks can fly so I found it strange. They weren't flying like birds in the air but moving in the air as fish does in the water and seemingly playing with each other.

One of them broke away from the group, looked at me and with a "smiling face" (if peacocks can smile) started flying towards me. And then it snuggled into me like a dog snuggling to its owner after a long time of absence. The peacock looked so happy seeing me like it knew me. And then I laid down to rest in that dream hugging the peacock like a pillow it was very soft and happy. The bird was strangely huge though. It's nearly the size of a small woman.

I woke up for real and looked up peacock in the internet and surprised to see they really do fly. I've always thought there were flightless birds, I'm guess I'm terribly wrong!

I would appreciate it if someone can interpret the dream for me, thanks!

That sounds like a beautiful dream. I am not an interpreter, but maybe that is God telling you that it might be a good idea for you to work with animals (even as a hobby), cos we can be good stewards of His creation.

Thanks. I've already been doing it for many years, long before this dream.

I've looked for online interpretations before I made this thread and all the interpretations are extremely positive I'm finding it hard to believe. The interpretations are telling me I'm either going to have a financial breakthrough, meet the woman of my dreams, or experience spiritual awakening/breakthrough, the biggest yet in my life. The last one I think is the only plausible interpretation.

The last time I had a dream like this, also involving a bird, a sparrow. A few months later, a cousin gave us a dog and she turned out to be the best companion I ever had and then one year later, I had a business trip to the USA and my poor country salary rate was adjusted for equivalent position in USA and it was the most money I made my entire life.

The peacock in my dream did remind me of my dog, the one that my cousin gave us. It behaved like her.

Maybe there's another interpretation. The turquoise blue plumage of a peacock have a special meaning for me. Something my dad dreamed about me that I find impossible to believe. Just ridiculously impossible.

I would always go with the personal significance over generic lists of "peacocks signify x, y or z".

It doesn't sound like a bad dream in any way!

I just noticed my mom is wearing turqoise blue pants today and it occurred to me she hasn't had her blood pressure checked in couple of days now so we checked it and her blood pressure is high and gave her a blood pressure meds.

A friend of mine is sick and his favorite color is turquoise blue, I think I'll have to check up on him.

Based on its color turquoise and its relation to my other dreams (interpretation of personal relevance) and my dad's dream 20 years ago, a large fleet of alien ships is about to make a surprise appearance in our skies. After my dad passed away, he and my late grandpa began appearing in my dreams showing more details of what will take place on that day.

The alien ships "folded" space to travel faster than light and upon emerging into "normal" space, they left a "hole" in the sky that glowed bluish purple. Scary but it's beautiful.

They appeared simultaneously in formation and I remember now, the whole spectacle in the night sky looked and colored exactly like the tailfeathers of a peacock. I didn't notice it back then because it scared me. I was too scared to notice the pattern although I did notice how beautiful it was.

The night sky literally looked like this when the alien ships began "warping in" simultaneously leaving "holes" in the sky that stayed open briefly and glowed in purple.

I'm hoping there might be another more plausible interpretation.

I did. They were feelings of joy and felt like I'm literally going to fly. It's an unusual feeling to have when dealing with huge problems for many years now where there is no hope in sight. Maybe I'm starting to lose my mind and becoming insane.

I'm going through a ton of difficulty now too and i was feeling a little, sometimes a lot, aggravated with God because he tends to give me more supernatural direction, or should i say, more insights. I now see he wants to work on me and my fears, and i am also starting to see what he's orchestrating with all this. I did have a few dreams and i was thinking why is he giving me dreams now on things that don't relate, i need help with this bigger problem. But he has astounded me again. The dreams did fit and was an answer to my prayers. Still have difficulties to get through, but at least now i am starting to see some of what he's been up to and how my dreams fit.

Turquoise can be a beachy color so just chalked it up to that, and maybe that is all it is, but your dreams have me wondering if there is more to it now...hmmm.

A few days ago I watched the movie "The Truman Show" 1998 starring Jim Carrey after I had the dream.

I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to watch the movie.

One of the main characters in the movie who is sympathetic to Truman (Jim Carrey) is wearing a turquoise bracelet.

The woman told Jim Carrey the truth that nothing is real and that everything he ever knew is a lie.

The woman also wore a sweater and in the sweater is a pin and there's a writing in the pin saying "This is the End".

A few years ago, I had a dream where a big woman gave me a turquoise bracelet telling they're coming real soon and I have to prepare myself. She asked me to learn Aramaic and that's all that I needed to do, at least for now.

It did not give the impression that it's going to be the "end of world" but more likely to be the end of this age. I doubt it's the rapture nor the 2nd coming of the Lord but there's going to be massive changes in the world within a very short time span, I figure within only the span of few years. I think the changes are going to be horrific that's why I'm already made aware in advance. Ironically for me, it's going to be my deliverance from my own problems that's been torturing me for so long now.

"Worst" case scenario, it could be my end. Meaning that I'll die soon or even tomorrow. I just found an old nearly empty bottle of ketchup in the fridge for real. It's been there for several months now. I never looked at the expiration date until today and the printed date says it expires tomorrow. I can finally have have a taste of rest!

It appears you are attached to something that is not necessarily good for you....
