I read news that Trump disallowed displaying gay pride and black lives matter flags MSN

However as I read the article further it says

This means that only three flags that are not the stars and stripes of the United States’ national flag are permitted to be flown. These are: the Prisoner of War, the Missing in Action, and the Hostage of Wrongful Detainee flags.s

So what that means, which article failed to notice, is that he doesn't allow Confederate Flag either. This means that it is not a one-sided attack on the left like the title seems to suggest.

Although it does bring up an interesting point that Confederates used to be Democrates. But that is a history far gone. Right now they are mostly Republican.

I may be a stupid person, but I don't recall the Confederate flag ever flying from a US Government building.

If they already were not allowed then your conclusion about which "side" was "attacked" by this new rule is incorrect.

For me, I cant imagine any properly American "side" would want to display a flag of national disintegration on govt buildings.

Seems like only a few years ago, confederate flags were being displayed on government buildings in some states, but there's already been a crackdown on that.

Wow, my time was in the 70s right after all the prejudice. Maybe social engineering doesn't affect friends.
