Do you think it still happens today ?

Statue of Moloch in front of the Roman Coliseum in 2019...

It's becoming overt...

Of course, children have been sacrificed to the god of convenience (Moloch by another name) for quite some time now.

And Bewitching Idolatry is practiced frequently, through every day, worldwide, in every country on earth.

Amen to that. And just my personal opinion... I think America is the queen of idolatrous nations and the chief exporter of such to the world. Even much of the organized "church" here is greatly compromised. This, along with evil increasing exponentially, is why I believe this country is on the brink of divine judgement. Thoughts?

Occult energy just floats in the air, it would be no surprise if everyone practiced a form of witchcraft without knowing it.

The Word of the Almighty Clearly Identifies "pharmakeia" as witchcraft and sorcery. People get subject to it from birth for the rest of their life much of the time.
Yet the Word of the Almighty clearly depicts Moses turning water to blood and turning his stick into a snake. What was different when Moses did it? His snake ate the magicians snakes.

The answer is yes.
Amos had written that Israel would be cast out of the kingdom on the day of the Lord for worshiping Moloch. The word Moloch is a semitic word which means king. The king which Israel worships has a symbol of a star.A symbol Israel made for itself to worship. It can be seen on Israel's flag. The flag of the their king and his kingdom.

King James version

Amos 5
25 Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?

26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, whose name is The God of hosts.

New international version.

25 “Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings
forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel?

26 You have lifted up the shrine of your king,
the pedestal of your idols,
the star of your god[b]—
which you made for yourselves.

27 Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,”
says the Lord, whose name is God Almighty

Moloch is called the beast in revelation 13.

"Israel Law on Child Kingship

Based on the provided search results, it appears that there is no law in Israel that requires children to be given to their king when they turn 18 years old. In fact, the search results highlight the importance of parental guardianship and autonomy in raising their children until the age of 18, as stated in Israeli law (Guardianship of Children).
Additionally, Deuteronomy 17:14-20, which discusses the selection of a king in Israel, does not mention anything about children being given to the king at a specific age, including 18.
It’s worth noting that the concept of a king in Israel is not currently applicable, as Israel is a democratic republic and does not have a monarch. The biblical account of Israel’s monarchy is historical and no longer relevant to modern Israeli law or society.

In summary, there is no law in Israel that requires children to be given to their king when they turn 18 years old."
When children become the age of 18,it is law in Israel that they must be given to their king

The law requiring Israelis to give their children to their king is called conscription.
The children are to serve the king in his armed forces doing whatever the king tells them to do If he sends them to war the to war they go.If they are ordered to bake cakes for the other servants of the king then that is their job. What the king orders them to do,they do.

Christians are not required to enter the draft .

Israel asks for a king like the nations have.
In the end, they get what they want.A beast ,likened to the beasts of the earth.

1 Samuel 8

7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.

8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.

9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

10 And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king.

11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.

12 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.

13 And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers.

14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.

15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants.

16 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.

17 He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.

18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day.

19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;

20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.
