Do you think people will be violent against me?

There has been a lot of pressure lately, I feel, to go with the flow. People think so much strangely that they have from America, I think, and then you have to like the development too. There is so much abusive behavior towards me, I think, just because I screw up at everything. I wouldn't say I'm a rebel, but I just like to train and be to myself, so I'm nice to everyone. I don't like all the sexual stuff from America either, do you think people will eventually turn violent on me, eventually?

You're in Norway, right? I don't think our situation in the US should affect how you are treated by your neighbors in Norway.

I think agnostics will be safe. Norway is not a Christian country right? I don’t know about your dad. How old are you? Don’t you want to go be with the Lord in heaven? You have to die anyway. Don’t be afraid, toughen up, overcome in Jesus name.

I've been there. The truth is that you have to "screw up" multiple times at something before you are successful. If people are not giving you enough grace to do the number of "screw ups" required for your success, that's a problem, and it's their problem, not yours. They are condemning you for your own human neuronal system and doing violence to your hippocampus. And since the hippocampus is the area responsible for learning, welcome to the downward spiral.

You need to find things that you really want to do and persist through screwing up. When you do that, yes, abusive people will be violent against you. My abusive dad filed an eviction case. Yours might do something different. But do you want to spent your entire life being afraid of what your father is going to do to you? It is better to face a few days of violence or even a few weeks of violence than a lifetime of fear.

Do not be afraid of calling the police or other authorities if your father becomes violent. This will teach him that he cannot get away with his abusive behavior anymore and inspire him to stop.
