Demon Hunter anyone?

Anyone else a fan of this band? What do you think of their newest album "The World is a Thorn"?

I like "The World is a Thorn", but not as much as "Storm The Gates Of Hell" or "The Triptych".

These guys are pretty awesome...it's refreshing to see a Christian band that does not play lyrical hide and seek with with their faith.

They're decent. They've got some pretty good songs. I think they're a little overrated, but then again, I've haven't heard the majority of their songs.

I haven't heard most of The World is a Thorn, save for Driving Nails which is awesome. I did get the chance to see them during their Summer of Darkness tour though, they put on a good live show. I have some CD's to catch up on. :x

I love Demon Hunter! was so excited when i got their deluxe edition in the mail. I liked Storm the Gates of Hell and Triptych the best.

Relentless Intolerance and Grand Finale (The beginning) are my favorites!

I found this last CD nowhere as good as their previous CD's....i almost feel like they are getting a little bit worse with each one....

Just saw them with As I lay Dying, revived my fandom (i had kinda forgotten about them after tryptich).
If I can get the money I REALLY wanna buy storm the gates and the world is a thorn. They put on a great live show, sic mosh pit

I have a question about Demon hunter - I've been told by several that many of the members are Catholic (which made my day) but besides Answer Sites I can't find where to find if It's true. So do you know what denomination if any the band is?

I don't think it really matters which denomination they are, they are definetly Christian in every sense of the word. They are a band that follow Christ. I reckon that they will be non-denominational Christians though, like most other Christian metal bands, but don't hold me to that.

True that The main thing is that they Praise God/Christianity in their Music. But thought it was kind of interesting when i heard that and wanted to see if someone knew more about it.

I'm sorry but, "The World Is A Thorn" is not Demon Hunter. Demon Hunter makes music which is awesome and brilliant. The World Is A Thorn is generic and nothing special. The Summer Of Darkness is Demon Hunter at their most awesome, powerful and wonderful. Also, I really do not like the fact that Demon Hunter changed their band membership. Demon Hunter is Ryan Clark, Don Clark, Jesse Sprinkle, and John Dunn, not their current lineup. I love and miss the old Demon Hunter. May they regain their former glory.

I LOVE DEMON HUNTER!!!!! I've been listening to them since the release of Summer Of Darkness when i had just gotten back from a Mission Trip and i was absolutely craving some music (we weren't allowed electronics) so while everyone was going to the movie store in the mall i went to the christian book store to look for some music... fell in love with the song heartstrings and over time their music grew on me... now i have all their albums and they are in my top 3 fav bands....

as for the new album it's great... The strings Mix for Driving Nails is a beautiful song... and Blood in the tears is also amazing... the whole album is amazing but those two songs stick out the most for me

ok yes i miss the old line up as well... but they are still Demon Hunter to many of us (i don't usually freak til the singer changes....) and yes they aren't as heavy but their melodic metal is also amazing.
