I wrote this from the point of view of "Deception." This is one of my few poems. Most of what I write are song lyrics, which are more like inconsistent poems. Anyway, here goes.
Deception
My name is Deception,
The Warper of Perception.
I got a home in U.S.A.
Where I'm welcomed everyday.
I make so much money,
It's not even funny.
Souls, also, I've claimed,
And God's temple I've defamed.
You better watch out.
I'll find you, no doubt.
I am everywhere,
Pervaded through the air.
You are blind to me,
And I can clearly see
That you don't have a clue
That I'm controlling you.
Fear me, puny man,
For I'll do all that I can
To lead you astray
And to make you obey
My every desire.
I'll bring you to the fire
Of the pit of Hell
Where many great men fell.
You cannot defeat,
Never will you beat,
My incredible might
Without God's guiding light.
