ok, one of the churches I've been attending..the plants I know

Grass
mondo grass
more grass
new guinea impatiens
griselina
day lily
pohutakawa
canna lilies

I'd love to attend a church that actually has a real garden but so far, nothing :-(. It's more like landscaping. I really think that a church space out to be so much more than just a building and a parking lot.

I was thinking how Jesus would go into the Garden of Gesthemane to pray and spend the night! He didn't go into the synagogue. He must have liked it there and felt close to God. It had lots of olive trees.

Am going to plant hydrangea by this church. I saw a perfect spot for it on.sunday.

What plants are in your church yard?

We keep a full garden on the property. And it is wide open and advertised to the whole neighborhood that it is for anyone's benefit, anytime.

I dunno. A few shrubs around the building. They cut them back once a year, I think.

This other church I attend now has..spider plants in hanging baskets.
Around the front, begonias and polyanthus.
Another garden bed has echevrias, lavender, rosemary, breath of heaven, dahlia and dianthus.
