What does it mean when church members appear in dreams. I've had several dreams about a fellow christian or church member appearing in my dreams. now I know it has to be more to it. than just ppl that I happen to know appearing in my dreams.

Cuz befor I was a christian, the friends I use to hang out with, would be the one in my dreams. do you know if it has any significant meaning to it. this morning I had a very short dream about a church memeber giving me a health bar or maybe a cereal bar.

Sometimes church members could represent your local church body or the body of Christ. I know that with me, when the Lord gives me dreams of church members, he is usually wanting me pray for them, and if he leads me to, to encourage them in the Lord. It just depends on the dream, but most of the time it is to intercede on their behalf.

Yes. Look also at what characters these people have, and how you would categorize them. They could be symbolic of being trustworthy, questionable, overachievers, caught up in rules, etc. A spiritual person can also represent the church at large.. the direction it's heading.

But I would start with praying for them.


The cereal bar could be about offering sustenance, practical and wholesome. A protein bar is simple, convenient, pure, uncomplicated... a no-brainer snack. The dream could be confirmation to trust what this person offers (or not) to you.

Depending on the sensation you get, it might also be prodding to pray over this person who continually expresses generosity but might be feeling weary, or unequipped to keep giving, or ready to jump into a ministry of food distribution. Ask God to pray through you for this situation.

I think that would make sense that the church member will feed you.. ummm Maybe that you will learn more in a spritual way from that church member.. Please just go to God and ask him to make your dreams clearer so you understand what God is showing you. It is not uncommon to have to ask. I had to ask because it would be like a movie happening but, I would wake up and be like - God what am I suppose to do with that. Now my dreams are complete and I have an understanding if I am to pray for that person (intercede) & comfort that person, or if it's my child do something different since it was shown to me. But, I am still learning because when it comes to God you are always learning we can never understand all the levels God has.

A cereal bar would be grain, which as someone already pointed out, could represent the Word of God.


It could be as simple as someone told you, or will tell you something you really need to hear, and in all likelihood, from the Bible.

It could represent the entire congregation, or it could represent the actual person you saw.
