Christian Goth Bands

Hello everyone,

I pray that you are all doing well and fine. I wanted to share with you something fresh and something new that you may not have heard of before. Modern Goth started in the 80's along with Christian Goth which is for the glory of Jesus while the secular was more about politics/rebellion which was derived from Punk. Though, last time I listened to secular Goth rock, I felt a strange tugging on my soul and didn't listen to it again unless it was instrumental, which I didn't have a problem. It's important Christian genre or not to test the spirits. (1 John 4:1-6) Here I will put an example of Christian Goth/Industrial bands. Sounds like you are really into Goth.

Nothing against the style itself. I do like some of the titles. Escape from the furnace does stick out for me. This is a ministry to people who would not otherwise set foot in a church.

I always thought of Goth music as being covertly Christian. It seemed to like a response to the horrible Glam scene of the 70's. While Glam celebrated sex, drugs and hedonism... Goth was lamenting the concept of death and looking for spiritual answers....All the Goth bands used religious imagery (Depeche Mode had "Personal Jesus", "Songs of Faith and Devotion", "Heaven" etc etc New Order had "True Faith", "Touched by the Hand of God" "Ceremony" etc
And the religious imagery in the fashion was overt... Goth kids were wearing crosses and all that. So it has never surprised me that so many Christian Goth bands sprung up through the 80's and 90s

I'd love to find some decent industrial shock rock bands. I've only ever come across two that I like.
Rackets And Drapes
Virginia Creeper

Both are really good, (within certain parameters!) but I think there is plenty room for many more... maybe I just haven't heard of them yet...

I liked the list above Heartofsilver, and have heard of a number of them, but nothing comes near to the Marilyn Manson vibe that R&D and VC do quite well. Would be great to find more like that.
