Hey all! I'm looking for some good Christian oriented books about sexuality. I don't care if it's conservative or liberal or even moderate. I am just trying to establish what I believe and so I am reading a variety of stuff. I am currently reading "Living in Sin? A Bishop Rethinks Human Sexuality" by Bishop Spong.

There's a couple of specific texts reviewed here on the homosexuality issue. There's lots of other discussions; Google up "the Marriage Bed", there's a site offering at least some Christian views on sexuality.

As always, a polite reminder that WWMC is not one of the forums where we get to have sexuality debates.

I recently saw a book called something along the lines of "The Bible and Homosrxuality: Two Views".

Hmm, that sounds interesting. I may check it out. :) Thanks for the recommendation!

There are lots of books on this, but I don't know whether practical books such as these are worth reading unless you have a solid foundation of faith. So in my opinion to address the question of sexuality and marriage it might be better to read a book on Paul's letters to the Corinthians or a book on Justification or a book on Jesus' preaching or a book on the Christian life or something of that sort. But if you want something direct, Instone Brewer has written a lot on what the Bible has to say about marriage.

I would recommend "Good News about Sex and Marriage," by Christopher West.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1569552142/qid=1111647126/sr=2-2/ref=pd_ka_b_2_2/103-7767237-6159058

I would also recommend "Love and Responsibility," by Karol Wojtyla aka Pope John Paul II.

I also second the recommendation above made by Verushka, "Sacrament of Love," it is an excellent book.
