Here is is short video that is animated, but not exactly anime, because it is Spanish, not Japanese. It is Christian in the broadest sense of touching on Christian themes of compassion for the marginalized. It is based on the film creator's actual family. Note: the English translation is a little strange, and the subtitles at the very end are obscured, but the last 15 seconds of the film takes place 20 years later, so watch to the end.
