Christian Alternatives To These Secular Bands?

I recently realized some of my music is not the most uplifting, and while I do enjoy my music, I'd like to find Christian alternatives. Not because I believe all secular music is sinful or anything, but when people are in my car and messing around with my iPod, I want them to find uplifting stuff. Maybe a Christian band will speak to them and turn them towards the Lord. So what's everyone got for me!

Look- dont stop listening to music cause its secular, just dont swallow everything said on the albums. to stop listening to secular music is just like ceasing to speak with any non-christians... not 2 productive. BUTT it is good to have some christ rock to keep you on the straight'n'narrow

Metal/HxC - Zao, As I Lay Dying, a plea for purging, pierce the veil (also Christian), The showdown, Norma Jean, Demon Hunter, blessthefall, war of ages, august burns red, Sleeping giant, Impending doom, the great commission, The Devil Wears Prada,

Punk/emo/pop punk - MXPX (Older stuff) Saosin (is christian d00d - "you're NOT alooone there is more to this I KNOW!") Dogwood (borke up :{ ) OC supertones, Reliant K, Hawk Nelson, the wedding,

Rap- Grits.... thats almost it AFAIK. KJ52 kinda sucks IMO but hes the most popular

In my mind what's the point? I can find just as many bands that I enjoy that are Christian, and like I said, someone happens to be browsing my ipod, and they're only finding Christian stuff, maybe something will speak to them.

Metal:
Hopesfall - No Wings to Speak of..., The Frailty of Words, The Satellite Years (everything after this is garbage IMO)
Underoath - Acts of Depression, Cries of the Past, The Changing of Times (again, everything after this is sissy, sister's jeans wearin' garbage... fact)
Narcissus - BEcoming LEviathan, Crave and Collapse (good stuff, the singer has got some crazy screamy pipes on him)
Luti-kriss (Norma Jean before Bless the Martyr) - Throwing Myself (great great album and one that gets overlooked because people don't do their homework.
Tantrum of the Muse - Modernmu$ick(2000)! (this album is weird, grungy metal/punk/hardcore and it tackles heavy issues that are grey areas among christianity)
FEW LEFT STANDING - Regeneration of Self, Wormwood (two albums that will blow your socks off. sooooo good. and not just because they're from my home town. I plan on releasing these albums onto vinyl soon with my label)

That should be some awesome music for you to sift through. I'll post some indie rock/emo/ cool stuff later when i'm not exhausted haha.

That ipod trick works wonders! lol, i have non christian friends who have become christians because of that, they grab my...lol Zune and start listening to randomw music, seeing as how i dont have any secular bands on it, and i will get requests for the cd's, can i borrow that album, and somtimes after they listen to it they have a change of heart not always the case, and somtimes i recieve a cd returned in two pieaces because they feel like i tried to sneak it in on them but its no worry to me i still have it on my computer, i just burn it onto a new cd even tho i lose the quality.

i may have lost 200 of my christian cds so far lol, some of them broken and some of them never given back or some they begged me to keep but ive changed alot of the lives around me

You cant always find the same musical quality in the christian scene (sorry, its the truth)

Also, a holier than thou attitude tward secular music doesnt speak to anyone, unless its saying "I think if I only listen to people that agree with me, I will become a better person."

not saying you have to listen to seclr music, but i am saying that a bad attitude twards it is not necessarily righteous

The whole idea of Christian bands ripping off secular bands style to make a "safe alternative" is complete trash. :\

That being said, in the world of industrial music, you don't have a whole lot to choose from that is actually what I would call "good". You have bands like Rackets & Drapes (more gothic than anything) which really aren't that good...

The best band that the Christian market had in the industrial genre was Circle of Dust, and the last album under that name came out in 1998 and he is now releasing music as Celldweller which is not a Christian band.

No more discussion of secular vs. Christian!
I don't believe in anyway, shape, or form that secular music is "sinful" or "evil".
For personal reasons I would like to find myself Christian alternatives.

Probably the closest you could come to the Beatles would be Phil Keaggy. His voice and songwriting style sounds like it has a lot of Paul McCartney influence.
