Has anyone ever heard of Celebrate Recovery? Celebrate Recovery really should be posted in at least three different threads, but I'm afraid to post the same message in more than one thread.
My two boys and I have been going to Celebrate Recovery for almost three months now at our church, Big Valley Grace. The program has really been helpful to the three of us.
I've been a single father for almost one year now. Went through a terrible separation, divorce, and court battle for child custody. My two boys are now living with me.
Praise God, we are on the road to healing and recovery. Celebrate Recovery is a program to help people struggling with sexual addictions, drug/alcohol addiction, family problems, mental problems, etc.
This is a great progrma, similar to AA, but we use the Bible to line up with the 12 steps. Our Celebrate Recovery starts off with dinner together, then an awesome time of worship, testimony and/or Bible study, then we break up into small groups for one hour. After the small groups, we regroup for more fellowship and desert.
You should check out to see if there is a Celebrate Recovery in your area. If not, ask around at different churches, and see if you can get somebody interested in starting a Celebrate Recovery program.
Sorry, I can't post URLs. I need at least 15 posts first. Do a search and you will finds many links to Celebrate Recovery, worldwide.
