Brownells does, Cabelas.ca and basspro.ca are Canadian entities, numrich does not. You’d think they’d let them ship down here for the business/money/ economy. But you can try some of the bigger international houses like midwayusa.com , or brownells.com , or Cabela’s.com , or bass pro.com , numrich.com .
These are the biggest ones I know off hand. A search on google might help for other big reloading warehouse types. Don’t like to see you paying so much for a nine dollar part.
Sure, seems though that Trump thinks trade negotiations with Canada are pointless and has said that there will be an additional 25% tariff added to all canadian goods imported into the USA. He also stated that he wants to annex Canada and Greenland, and the Canal Zone of Panama. I think there is a lot of mental instability in your new government. Our dollar is already as flat as pee on a plate; we have no buying power left. The exchange rate is already about 40%; hit us with another 25 and we would be better off joining the EU.Any dip in price for Brownells? What about lee? Not too sure of other companies on the Canadian border, though they would. likely ship there. Could shipping really be $100 dollars. I thought it was a trade agreement- to increase trade. Any chance of renegotiating after Trudeau? Is he leaving this year?
Regardless, if he means it or not, the rhetoric is having a profoundly negative effect on both our economy and in the eyes of the rest of the world, on the US economy. Be mindful that western Europe is in the midst of a deep recession; the fortunes of Stelantis (Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, etc) are already doing massive lay-offs. We are in for a tough ride. Border security has been made into a big issue, but it will be a one way deal. He wants us and mexico to take care of a (real or perceived) immigration problem; a US problem that the US can not control. Meanwhile, most of the opioid drugs and illegal firearms that are being used by gangs come into Canada either directly from of via the USA.Do you think it’s because of the liberal gov. In Canada? Or what I thought we were friendly neighbors. Well you know he’s probably dreaming…. Where’s the competition to add a tariff? we can’t be taxing Mexico. There must be something there. But isn’t there bad blood because of the border with Canada and the French and Indian war? You are so far north into the snow country. I heard the headline about buying greenland. Could you be United States citizen?

The expansionist views being iterated by Trump sound frighteningly similar that of Putin and Europe.
Our government is not much better; just a whole lot less dangerous.
There is always hope; even if the world appears hopeless.Yeah criminals will always have guns. The lesson is right before us that gun control doesn’t work. A very modern example.
But as to trump. He is thinking out loud and out of the box to solve americas financial woes and also the world. I’m sorry that these published thoughts are so unsettling to you and the world. Though intriguing he does not have enough money to buy Canada. If he says annex that mean military action wouldn’t it. I don’t think that would ever happen. I don’t see us as imperialistic! Like Russia- always expanding our territory for the profit to their economy.
Vietnam was an anti communist fight. Korea we built up to be self governing but we do trade with them. We help a lot of poor countries and trade to keep above the poverty level. A lot of fortunes are made Though.
we are trying to help people and to gain friends. It has changed our warfare. To help both sides and not bring total destruction. Not in this, but it is misguided. Too big too proud. The hardliners hate us.
iraq did not cooperate and our strategy of bringing freedom does not work. We should stop participating in foreign wars except to arm Israel And fight terrorism. The world could get to be a very unbalanced place if we did. I mean it’s basically a fight between Russian and China and USA. It’s just like a global game but men are being killed.
can Canada compete in the world. Has being neutral helped her. Do they grow enough wheat to feed other countries? There is much struggling in the world right now. I have started to not worry about my own troubles and my comforts to pray more for persecuted Christian’s in Muslim countries as a form of adaptation to the generally poor world situation. But it is Christmas. There is hope in Jesus and hope in heaven. It’s Christmas and things are looking good spiritually and the rapture is near, about the only comforting words for these days.
Not the right forum for this discussion; suffice it to say that I disagree with that interpretation. Only those who have faith in Christ; that is, the Christian Church will be saved. Revelation talks about the new Jerusalem, that is where all the righteous souls in heaven will dwell after the final judgement. God gave and still gives the opportunity of faith through the Holy Spirit; for those who reject Jesus as Lord, there will be no new Jerusalem, only an eternity in hell. One's birthwright can be revoked. You haven’t offended me. Istael is not the church. But they are Gods people. Israel but not the true Israel. They are not righteous with the righteousness by faith. But God has not forsaken them, he has loved them with an everlasting love, literally. That’s how we know He still loves us and hasn’t forsaken us. Israel are still Gods chosen people. But they are not headed for heaven right now. God is still dealing with them. Remember all Israel will be saved when the Lord returns- the remnant. Please don’t forsake them.
Now I have the eyes fixed, and am waiting on the snow to quit, and melt away. Pretty much house-bound till spring.I’ve gone to the range a couple times since last I posted. Last time I was forced to use a different projectile because I needed to make more of the 405. So I tested some 500 gr lee that I had made with a new mold. They turned out well and used some old lube. So I’m on a new regimen of cleaning after every shot and looking for ways to improve and speed that up. But they shot pretty well and I had a one inch group at fifty yards all touching and a two and a half inch group at a hundred yards. Getting paid per word. Ha.
Tried my 340 grain with 1/8 inch wool wad. It didn’t like it. Still have hope for it though. Should pull them and try my paper wad. Niether of those had enough lube nor but cleaning made it ok. So I’m going to stick with the 500 grain and keep sizing the nose and not get the mold I was planning on because it was a maxi ball turns out. So it’s back to the beginning to search for one that works better. Big thanks to a guy in west Canada that correct my bullet deign pain stakingly and put me on track to something more traditional and pragmatic for the 45-70. Thanks Longbow.
Windy cuss I’m getting to be on this thread. Darn. Taking my eternal time to make progress on my hobby and not sweating it this time, because this is what I want to do. Some successes some failures but progress. Right into eternity. It’s fun, it’s noble, it’s a challenge, it yields the peaceable fruit when you’re right and I like doing it. Plus it keeps me active and interested in life as a hobby should. Looking for a conclusion. The ramblings of a semi old man. It’s been fun. Thanks for being there to read or not, but to put my thoughts on paper. And to get whole behind it. Beep!

I was quoted $3,000.00 Canadian per eye for the super delux premium lenses. They put me through on OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) since I was still working, and put me on the fast track. I paid $200 each eye over and above my provincial plan for the better lenses; unfortunately the cataract in my right eye was so bad, they had a hard time getting an accurate measurement, so I need reading glasses also. When I went back for the final check-up, he gave me an additional laser treatment to remove some scar tissue; this was also covered by our Provincial plan. Total out of pocket for me; $400.00. Our Health Care here is not so bad. Thank God!I had my left eye done on January 8th and my right eye on Wednesday. Doc said no shooting for a while. I was surprised to see how much cheaper it was up there. Over $9000 USD per eye if I wanted premium lenses. I settled for the regular ones that my insurance covers and having to use reading glasses for anything closer than 1.5 meters.

Very reasonable. Mine was so bad, I was ready to pay the 3000; it was a private clinic, and I was unaware that they could opt in to OHIP when I went there. There was one once a day for 4 weeks, there was on that was 4 times a day for 1 week, then 3 times for a week, then two, then 1; there was one I only took for one week. Doctor gave a chart to record them and not get mixed up. Drops were covered by my work plan. Because my surgeries were only a few weeks apart, there was a period where I was using two tracking sheets and dosing both eye. Drs and Staff were wonderful! My out of pocket was around $500 USD
and an additional $100 for eye drops. Insurance would cover the drops but it’s 3 different bottles 4 times a day. I opted to suck it up and just pay for 1 bottle that has everything in it.
