Im a big fan of Bob Marley, many people believe he was a Rastafarian but it was said later in life he converted to Christianity, as evident by his song exodus, which the lyrics are about Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt into the there fathers promised land.
Now Bob Marley was a big figure in the fight against black oppression in Africa and north America, maybe he was using the story of the gospel of exodus as a parallel leading the people out of slavery in Egypt to the promise land, tho he went on to sing many other Christian songs, "lion in Zion" "redemption songs"

It is said redemption songs was wrote following Bob Marleys conversion to Christianity

Bob Marley will forever be remembered for bringing Reggae music to the world, I am a big fan I find his music to be very powerful, the kind of things he sings about have meaning and also tell a story.
