Does anyone know anything about this? I'm a little suspicious.

December 29, 2003 report from

FROM PASTOR CARLUCCI:

The BLOOD is ALIVE!

Chromosomes and the Blood of Christ

Ron Wyatt had a chromosome test done on the blood of Christ and found it ALIVE! Ron Wyatt was an archeologist in Israel, and he found the Ark of the Covenant UNDER where the cross of Christ stood.

Jesus' Blood seeped thru the earth and onto the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant, thereby satisfying GOD's requirement for a Perfect Sacrifice for sin. Ron took a sample of the Blood of Jesus Christ, rehydrated it and found The Blood of Christ is ALIVE when examined under a microscope. Ron ties the concept of the blood being alive to the presence of living white blood cells within the sample and the results of the chromosome test that was performed.

I discussed the subject with Dr. Eugene Dunkley who is an expert in genetics. In order to perform a chromosome count (karotype) test on human blood you must be able to isolate and culture living white blood cells.

This is because white blood cells are the only cells in the blood that carry genetic material. These cells must also be alive because they have to be cultured so they mature and divide.

At a certain stage of cell division the chromosomes within the cell become visible under a microscope. When this stage is reached a dye or chemical is added that stops the growth cycle. Then the chromosomes are counted by sight through a microscope. Blood cells can live outside of the body 2 weeks.

A sample older than this would not contain living cells. Even though the dried blood sample was 2000 years old, when rehydrated and examined under a microscope, it contained living cells, including white blood cells! The fact that the blood of Christ was alive after 2 millennia is nothing short of a miracle!

Psalms 16:10 You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; Nor will You allow Your Holy One to undergo decay. Leviticus 17:11 the life of the flesh is in the blood. So the true blood of Christ would be expected to be as alive today as it was 2000 years ago.

Ron Wyatt's "discoveries" bear all the hallmarks of Joseph Smith's golden tablets. Only Ron seems to have seen the Ark, no testimony from professional archaeologists are forthcoming and the whole thing is "conveniently" being kept under a cloak of secrecy, supposedly by the Israeli government, so no one is able to verify the claims.

Ron was trained as an anaesthetist and yet as an amateur archaeologist he has supposedly discovered wonders hidden for centuries from the eyes of professional archaeologists. These include Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, complete with brimstones, the point at which the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, the true site of Mount Sinai and the rock Moses struck to provide water for the Israelites, and of course the Ark of the Covenant.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably isn't :).

Have a look at these sites for more information.
