Bit by rattlesnake in dream, Please help!

Hello everyone,
I know this is a warning! I received this dream during a nap after I came home from work. I had a great day! The fact that I had this dream in the middle of the day is very unusual for me. It never happens.

Here is what I remember I wrote it down as soon as I woke up, so please forgive me about the way it was written:

had pet rattlesnake

had it in a container with a lid

the lid kept coming off

as I struggled to get the lid on

the small baby rattle snake came out

at first I was able to get it back in

it was going in circles inside the container

making the rattle noise, I could see the tail rattling

I continued to struggle to get the lid back on

the snake head came out

and it bit my hand

while the tail was rattling

I remember how the tail looked

it was free, the snake was fully out

I had tried to grab it from the back of the small head

but it turned around and bit me on the hand between my index finger and thumb

I can't remember if the bite hurt or not, all I know is that I wasn't screaming in pain, I was wondering if the snake had any venom in it because it was a baby.

The snake was brown

The jar looked similar to this, but had a white rubber top

I remember the tail had a rattle on it, it was whiter than this one. But, I can't believe that I remember such details as these.

A jar with a white rubber top sounds like what they use to get snake venom. The snake is made to bite into it and venom comes out. This means you were likely a professional who was bit many times and built up a resistance to the venom so the you in the dream will be fine.

Could it be about a struggle you been dealing with trying to control or think that its under control. Because in the dream you at first had full control over the snake, however began to struggle to keep it in the container. Since its not a huge snake I would say God is showing you that even the smallest struggle or demons that we deal with can put up a fight and try to attack with a bite. I truly believe this is warning as you already stated but it was meant to be a surprise attack. I would ask God for clarification and pray more in the spirit and remember that you already won the fight.

Thank you, I do want to mention and it may sound weird, there were other reptiles in the Jar with the snake. I failed to mention that in my main post. I have a turtle and a tortoise, I think they were in the Jar with the snake. I think.

I am dealing with a lot right now. I have made a lot of bad decisions. I dislike saying this, but I been feeling/waiting for God to punish me for some of the things that I did. I did have control over this situation, then it got out of hand. I am going to pray and ask God for clarification.

you're probably not going to like this much but this is what I'm seeing God is warning you about:
Pet snake = pet sin -- it's YOUR pet
snakes = generally represent gossip, lies or "long tales" (long tail)
rattle snake = Advance notice of deception (you hear it before you see it).
glass jar = is you as the transparent vessel.

What I see is that you're being given a warning to cease speaking something that is not true or is gossipy in nature. It appears you are trying to stop this sin (snake) from presenting itself (getting out of the jar), but you're having a hard time controlling yourself. It's true that we all have a battle with our own words and thoughts (head) at some point in our Christian walk. The warning is that if you don't get a handle on putting a stop to the gossip or "long tale" problem you're having, it's going to harm you (bitten by the snake). It will come out and it will cause a painful problem. So God is warning you now to be self controlled.

The best thing to do is speak to God but be honest about your struggles and ask God for help with dealing with this struggle. Let's remember God doesn't want to punish us this is a negative tactic that the devil has to keep people from going to God and asking for forgiveness. God loves you and the enemy knows this and the enemy is determined to cloud your thoughts negativity. But just remember ALL you have to do is ask for forgiveness and move on. God has great things for you to accomplish in the kingdom. Just suit up and join team. I will be praying for you.
