Biden gets blamed for everything even rainy days

so yes, let him take credit for everything even sunny days

Who was it that reduced our oil production leading to higher fuel prices which directly affected the entire economy?

Maybe Joe (and other democrats) should take an object lesson from one of their predecessors:

How could he possibly take credit? We all know good economic indicators are inspite of him and bad ones are because of him.

President Joe Biden met with Bill Clinton in May, during which the former president advised him on a range of topics and urged him to take credit if inflation decreases, according to a report published by The Washington Post on Wednesday.
Biden had a private lunch with Bill Clinton during which the former president urged him to take credit if inflation decreases, report says
Create a crisis and then take credit if it gets a bit better.
How can he take credit for reducing it when he claims he is not responsible for raising it? It's all Putin's fault.

Is it not possible to fix a problem that you didn't create?

I've constantly been reading that the President has absolutely nothing to do with gas prices or inflation, they are global problems. Why does this fact change if they go down?

Things happened world wide when Russia invaded Ukraine. Yes, the embargo against Russian gas hurt everyone, but you are defending Putin? That unfortunatelyI guess you also shows where your heart is, and it is not siding with American Democracy. I w.ould guess you also embrace the Hungarian dictato that CPAC embraces! But gas prices are coming down day by day, and Biden is the President. That is offenssive to your delicate sensibilities.

How am I defending Putin? If a President has nothing to do with gas prices and inflation when they go up how can he take credit when they go down? I'm just pointing out how Biden supporters are changing the narrative and moving the goalpost.

He can certainly take credit for measures that have reduced the impact on Americans. For example, releasing fuel from the strategic reserve and removing restrictions on the sale of higher ethanol content fuels (why you now see an increasing number of stations selling "E-88" fuel). How much of an actual impact have these had? Hard to say. But these are concrete actions that should - at least in theory - have had an impact on gas prices. Meanwhile, whenever I've asked which Biden policies have been responsible for raising prices, I either get outright falsehoods (freezes on drilling leases, reduced oil production) or things that would have zero impact on current pricing (stopping the development of Keystone XL).

With regards to inflation, it's far to early to say whether or not the "Inflation Reduction Act" will actually reduce inflation, but it is predicted to do so. And again, no one can point to a Biden policy that increased inflation.

Anyone telling you that the President has zero impact on gas prices or inflation is oversimplifying things. In general though, the impacts will be small - a 50% increase (or decrease) in fuel prices, or a 7% change in inflation cannot be pinned on one person or their policies. But he can make small changes via policy.

Gas is still high and inflation is 8.5%. I'll give Biden credit.

No one is changing the narrative. I admit that gas prices that affected inflation happened in Biden's watch. But I also acknowledge that Biden is takin very definitive steps aimed at lowering gas prices and addressing inflation. That is something you refuse to acknowledge. Because of your MAGA devotin, you can't can you?

Worthless platitude.

Presidents should get credit/blame for right/wrong decisions, not for outcomes. They arent gods.

I'm have no devotion to Trump. I hope something comes out of this latest effort to convict him of anything that keeps him from running again. Gas prices and inflation are still high. I give Biden full credit.
