Biblical Meaning of Someone Trying to Kill You in a Dream?

Can anyone tell me what this dream may have meant? I woke up just knowing that it was no regular "nightmare".

I was in the dollar store on the phone with a friend saying happy birthday then this guy slapped me so I punched[bless and do not curse]Him n told him I'd mess him up n dared him to slap me again in front of his friends and he didn't[bless and do not curse]and he was really embarrassed. But when i got out of the store I saw him sitting by my car with a cloth material in my gas tank and a lighter and he was waiting for me to come back so he could kill me by setting me and my car on fire,[bless and do not curse]so I ran away but I was in an area that I didn't know then I finally saw a McDonalds so i went inside and a family who was doing a bible study there rescued me[bless and do not curse]and we got in their car but then he was in a car behind us and started chasing them too so he could kill me and I was telling them where to turn so we could get away from him and I turned on the wrong street and somehow got stuck outside the car and he got out of his car and pulled a knife out and I tried running back to the car but it turned into sand and I was trying to dig through the sand and I found a gun and I pointed it at him but I didn't want to shoot it because I didn't know if it was loaded and then I woke up.

In a common commercial spot where you find what you need, or mbe go for a casual distraction. You were occupied with your own things, communications, recognizing/honoring someone's important date.

then this guy slapped me so I punched Him n told him I'd mess him up n dared him to slap me again in front of his friends and he didn't ... and he was really embarrassed.

Offense> defense> bold threat> cowering. He started the attack but you stood up firmly and made him cower.

In the situation, your car was how you planned to get away and return to normalcy. In dreams, a car is usually your mode of operations and control, and he threatened that.

You had to abandon your plans, but also your ability to control the situation.

Comfort food! Probably a place you went as a child, so even though it feeds you now, it might bring back memories of your parents, siblings, friends, or babysitters taking you there.

The spiritual aspect seems to show that the whole McDonalds symbolism was religious--like going back to people you trust, mindsets and practices that used to work for you. It's a public spot where you make choices and get fed.

Whether this relates to your dream or not, it's a good time to add the reminder that in our own power, we can't save ourselves. That's not just about Heaven, but spiritual attacks and even many practical everyday situations. When we are weak, He is strong. We wrestle not against flesh and blood.

You had gone back to a source of support and sustenance, and found rescue -- but then went back to your own mode of control and lost the ability to repel him. That's an important principle we often forget -- that we need each others' support, especially in prayer.

People get caught up in which church they like, or feel most comfortable with, or agree most closely with doctrines. But when it comes down to danger, what we really need is a devoted group of friends who will help fight for us.

Yes, we have a lot of destructive ammunition at our disposal -- but these are not necessarily problem-solvers. In your first scene, you found power in being brazen and mouthy, but it didn't keep him from going after you.

In God's arrangement of supernatural justice, He has all authority. We tend to work so hard to fend off or prevent spiritual attacks, but God has the calm matter-of-fact authority over them. We try to earn His favor so He will protect us, but we already have it.

Our ability to solve problems is not in shooting, or running, or digging through sand to find solutions, but in using His seal of approval -- our Heavenly Father's name. The name above all names.

and I pointed it at him but I didn't want to shoot it because I didn't know if it was loaded and then I woke up.

this is how I feel arguing with Evolutionists [turn the other cheek] recently I even started PMing them privately to tell them to get out of the discussion I was in [turn the other cheek] if all they were going to do is insult me [turn the other cheek] but something tells me that isn't enough to convict them [turn the other cheek] and if they can't be convicted, they are dangerous [turn the other cheek?] which is worse than what Jesus said when he said "you are sheep among wolves" because I always thought wolves waited for the right time to attack, but these guys just riot with their ridiculous belief that we came from monkeys (and I get the feeling the only reason we are safe is because they don't really know what it means anyway and monkeys don't riot, at best they "raid" but even then only if they think they can win against other monkeys) which is a declaration of war, if you really want to say but surely there is a way to move them in the spirit [turn the other cheek or fire the gun?]

Hmmm.. now I feel like I had the same dream.
