Being organized/neat/tidy/orderly? In Scripture?

Does the bible say anything about being organized/neat/tidy/orderly (as with possessions/priorities/affairs/duties)? If so, where does it speak about things like these or anything similar?

This question has been lingering in my mind lately.

Hmm, I know it talks about laziness

A lazy person hates work.

(Proverbs 21:25) “The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.”

A lazy person loves sleep.

(Proverbs 26:14) “As a door turns on its hinges, so does the lazy man on his bed.”

A lazy person gives excuses.

(Proverbs 26:13) “The lazy man says, ‘There is a lion in the road! A fierce lion is in the streets!’”

A lazy person becomes a servant (or debtor).

(Proverbs 12:24) “The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.”

A lazy person strains relationships.

(Proverbs 10:26) “As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy man to those who send him.”

A lazy person wastes time and energy.

(Proverbs 18:9) “He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great waster.”

I think organization, or lack of could be the results of laziness. I can speak from experience. Haha ;p

1 Corinthians 14:40 says that worship services should be conducted in an orderly fashion and there are a number of verses that speak of being a good steward of what God has given you.

(Proverbs 18:9) “He who is slothful in his work is a brother to him who is a great waster.”

My NIV translation uses says:

One who is slack in his work is brother to him who destroys.

And, it even makes a reference to Proverbs 28:24

He who robs his father or mother and says, "It's not wrong" - he is partner to him who destroys.

I don't think that Proverbs 18:9 was saying that lazy people actually waste time and energy. Isn't the very idea of a "lazy" person someone who does the exact opposite of wasting time and energy? Well, at least with energy. Maybe time is wasted on putting things off, but surely energy isn't being wasted, right?
When I think of a lazy person, I think of someone who doesn't spend enough time and energy on anything. Even if someone spends too much time on a meaningless effort doesn't make them lazy.

The Hebrew word shachath means 1) to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay. So in this case to put to waste/go to ruin and to destroy mean the same thing. And a person who wastes energy doesn't have to be using energy in unfruitful ways, they could also NOT be using energy in fruitful ways. I hope this clears up the confusion
