I was in a form of spirtual warefare since childhood in which (although i did not believe it could be possible at the time) spiritual things (entities / spirits / demons / take your pick) harassed me while sleeping.
I have since then found that this is a common theme in the world.
When someone is sleeping it lends to the person being in a vulnerable state and it isn't easy to fight back, which is the obvious reason for the timing. (Kick them when they are down, attack while they are sleeping, tactics of evil, etc)
The solution to this is to establish scripture deep in the heart while awake, turn away from sinful things (1 John 5:18), clean the garden of your heart, your life, maintain focus on God and stay on this path of light and truth of the love of God in scripture.
When caught in a moment of weakness while asleep and waking suddenly to things you know are from evil or wickedness, call out to Jesus and do not stop trying to call out to Lord Jesus.
He (Lord Jesus) is the only person who can save us from such things and I mean this sternly as there are no exceptions to it.
Faith is knowing who to call on believing He will save you from what it is you are dealing with. (Acts 4:12)
Memorize these scriptures and
establish them in your heart.
Victory Loves Preparation
If you want victory and freedom from this while sleeping, you
must prepare for the attack / battle while awake.
When memorizing anything, if the content is not easily repeated with eyes closed, and if you are not annoyed by repeating it to yourself, then it is not well established in your being yet. Be sure you are establishing God's Word into your heart so that no doubt has any room to grow.
Romans 10:13
Any scripture can help you, but focus on God's promises to begin with. If He promised, it belongs to you.
Every promise in the Bible is yours. Memorize them. Claim them. Live by them. Trust them.
They will change your life forever.
God does not lie, He always keeps His Word.
Build a strong
relationship with Christ and get close with our Father in Heaven through Him. He will do the rest.
I will be praying for you.
