Are Angels Male or Female? Facts from the Bible

Angels are not male or female in the way that humans understand and experience gender. But whenever angels are mentioned in the Bible, the word translated “angel” is always used in the masculine form.

Matthew 22:30 - Jesus states angels have nothing to do with marriage.
Perhaps the main purpose of creatures being made male and female is reproduction (Genesis 1:28, 7:3 etc).
Angels do not need to reproduce, so God has not made them male and female. We still need to recognise that these offspring of God are persons, (even if some are described as flaming fire), which is why the Spirit presents them in Scripture as a particular gender, choosing the masculine form the gender-less God is also represented.

Ya know, considering Matthew 22:30, I sometimes wonder if the fact that there will be no marriage between humans, then there will be no reproduction, therefore no more need for sex, therefore no sex drive? I gotta admit, I kinda hope so because wouldn't it be so nice, as a male, to never be tempted to lust for a woman again (and vice versa) - thus being free to admire each other's beauty without fear?
