anyone can recommand some clean comedy movies??

hi yall~ as a 19 year old,i know i love to watch all the comedy movies.(well,maybe not all,but some lo l).....but the thing is, most of the comedy movies i found funny all had three things in common:sex,drugs and alcohol...ex: Van Wilder,White Castle,Waiting,Grandma's boy,40 years old virgin...and Borat.....i know most of you guys have heard or even watched these movies, and sometimes when i dont feel like watching them,my friends always drag me in...

I know these movies are somehow satan's work...and I would like very much to hear from all you guys about some funny comedy movies in a clean way out there...thx guys !!!!!

Well we get to watch clean commedy movies because we have kids aged 2 and 5. Sometimes kids movies are the best because they are not loaded with garbage like adult flicks. Here's a short list of some we've enjoyed; Cars, Kangaroo Jack, Crocodile Hunter, Snow Dogs, Dr. Dolittle 1, 2 & 3., Racing Stripes, Herbie Fully Loaded, Cheaper by the Dozen 1 & 2.

That is a very good question, and I have yet to find the answer! I have NO IDEA where the clean comedies are hiding! Better yet, any GOOD clean comedies. It seems from my experience that the clean comedies are not even all that funny. It's as if it's assumed that people who want to watch something clean have no sense of humour, so you can either watch something clean yet boring, or something extremely funny yet worldly. I have yet to find that happy medium. If I find some, I'll let you know!

How clean are we talking? You listed what I understand are raunchfests and lists of stoner humor, it's no big feet finding movies cleaner than those. Do you mean "kid's movie"? Or just like "no swearing, no sex onscreen"?

But as long as you're not the type to refer to alcohol as "demon rum" or something, there's "Groundog Day" and "Wayne's World",

Basically, don't watch comedies made this century.

yeah people all say Napoleon was funny but after watched myself...i felt it's just a okay moive...cuz the entire movie setting is sooo...i dunno...quiet....lol

My boyfriend and I both thought that RV was one of the funniest movies we have seen in a long time. It was also quite clean. We were both skeptical but ended up pleasantly surprised.

I just finished watching Groundhog day a few minutes ago. Good suggestion.

These movies aren't perfect, but Office Space and Wedding Singer are decently clean.

Mrs. Doubtfire was pretty good...old...but good...as well, The Man who knew too little...Rat Race I believe is pretty clean...can't remember all of it though...just the part with the imitation Hitler......GALAXY QUEST!!...

Man good for you that you're trying to stay away from those movies that do nothing but put garbage in your head. I have a couple of those types of moviies like 40 year old virgin and American Pies and as I started getting closer to God I noticed I was feeling troubled everytime I watched them especially since I'm trying to stop masturbating.

... and I do believe they are Satan's work because that's how he works best.. he slowly distracts us and integrates his works into things that are practical and things we enjoy such as music, movies, games, the internet and other forms of entertainment. Is these types of things we should watch out for and not the "bigger sins" (there's no such thing, sin is sin). We always try to justify doing the small sinful things and pass it as someting minor but in the end it's just Satan trying to keep you distracted and away from God.

hmmm...I don't know how much I can help if limited to comedies, but I can give you some of my favorite movies and you can pick and chose:

Searching for bobby fischer (oldie circe early 1990s, but good)

Sister act (really funny and has musical numbers)

Sister act (ditto)

Little orphan annie (funny)

enough (has a little violence, but has a decent message and no sex or drugs)

Little miss sunshine (has minimum drug use, but drug use is emphasized as a bad thing. Very funny)

paper moon (is about con artist, has cigarette smoking, but no sex, or drug use, and I don't remember any cursing.)

the rundown (I don't remember cursing, but it's been a while. Brief sexual reference, but no sex scenes or implied sexual acts. No drug use. Mild violence. action movie)

Remember the titans- Deals with racism in a family friendly way. Funny with musical numbers. Highly recommend.

These are on my wish list:
Stand and deliver- awesome movie. (Some violence, cursing, and maybe drug use, but it's a disney teacher-goes-into-urban-school-and-inspires-kids-to-get-education-and-turn-life around kind of movie so it's worth it.)
Lean on me- Ditto (Actually I do own this one, but I wasn't going to mention it at first because of the aforementioned reasons.)

I think the movie series is called Bananas. Its actually a tv stand up comedy series, but they have it on tape now too. Joby Saad is the best one i have ever seen though, i would recommend his the most .

(and if it isnt called bananas, then its bonanza or something like that).

Edit: did i mention they are all christian comedians on that series? Yep, they are.
