Any Fundamental Christian Dating Sites?

Hello everyone,

I have never been on this forum and all this may sound strange but my wife's sister has joined some Christian dating sites and my wife asked me to help her and I looked on some of the sites that she was a member of and I was shocked at how few Bible Believing Christian Guys are on these sites like eharmony, etc, how many guys drink socially, and how expensive these sites are.

So the other day I was thinking how I could help her and I thought of searching for an Independent Baptist forum and I found this site. I want to know does anyone know of any good Christian dating sites that have Bible Believing Guys on them.

If anyone knows of any single Bible Beliving guys that would want to talk to a single woman age 36 please let us know.

I remember way back in the day I joined one of those dating sites that claimed to be specifically for Christians. I ended up conversing with three different guys:

1. The sales rep for a major purse manufacturer who tried to get me to engage in phone sex more than once and claimed if I had crooked teeth or fat rolls he would not hesitate to dump me off in the darkest ally he could find and drive away leaving me to walk home.

2. The forty year old Lego maniac.

3. The foot fetishist who frequently asked if I would paint my toenails blue and take photos of them to send to him.

Your sister-in-law needs to go to places where she will be with like minded believers, like church events. That's the best way. Or she could try joining Equally Yoked. They seem pretty reputable.

Strange? No way! Bizarre? Absolutely!

Yeah, I was a paying member at a few Christian sites, eHarmony being one of them. And I found more women there that would go for a hop in the sack than in more liberal sites like Match.com or PlentyOfFish.com. It bothered me a lot. I just want a good Christian woman in my life. Yeah, after we get married sex is a part of it, but until we exchange the vows it ain't gonna happen.

My husband and I met on christiancafe.com, but that doesn't reflect the number of actual Christians on there. Neither of us found many before we met each other. Most of the people on these sites are looking for sex, and many only call themselves Christian because they went to church when they were a kid, etc. The profile page can be a good indicator of that, particularly if they don't put any real content, only list hobbies, and the usual generic things like "easy going, good person, works hard but likes to have fun". If there's nothing else generally that means they're open for pretty much anything and will expect the same from the women they're dating.

christianmingle.com is the most conservative and well moderated site that I saw (it's been a few years now...), but there too it was not easy to find a Bible-focused Christian man. I'm not against using the online dating sites (obviously), but I do agree with the above poster who suggested real life church/church events to seek a mate. And I think it's great you want to help your sister-in-law out. Family and Christian friends should be involved in this process.

One thing I do recommend for your sister-in-law is that she be very clear about what she is looking for and what she is not looking for on her profile page. That will help weed out some of the ones who just want sex.

I'm in the same dilemma.you go on "christian"dating sites but some hardly have Christian values or morals.I am talking about being faithful till death do you part n not just until someone new comes along.no drinking,no drugs,no tattoos,KJV 1611 only.I know that narrows it down extremely but "straight is the gate n narrow is the way"
