hello :). my favorite genre of music overall is reggae but i also am a huge fan of ska and dub. i already listen to Christian rock and rap but i was wondering if anyone knew of any reggae particularly, but ska and dub that is Christian influenced :)

I'm personally not a fan but OC Supertones seems to be the biggest Christian ska band.

As for reggae, I know POD has a few.

Hey Senistar, don't worry I'm working on my craft. I got saved at 18 and and am now just about to graduate from bible college. Prior to my conversion I was the hugest Sublime fan and love ska, and huge Motown fan too, and Reggae Dub fan, I liked Lee Scratch Perry and Trojan Records and Studio One Lover's Rock stuff.

And when I got saved, I was going crazy having to abandon all that music because of my own convictions...and then God grooved me like never before and told me that if I have a problem with not having great music then I should make great music. I am a singer/song-writer/guitarist and just want to groove people for Christ.

My music is a lot different, right now I'm working on my craft and will be recording a single...reggae track "Single in The Hood". I'm just going to work my way to grooving the Bay Area and making music locally and see where it takes me.

But just wanna say, I feel ya on the looking for Christian Reggae/Dub...its out there but its so hard to find and if I do find it I will have like two songs. Good Christian Reggae/Ska is rare and I'm not that big of a fan of O.C Supertones....I just want to give people what they are longing to hear.

Pray for a sister-girl! :)

Yes I. It is a burden in me heart to sing and worship in a reggae riddim. Check out his link: christianreggae.c I an I also want to suggest. Katalyst Crew....good stuff....you wil have to google them....they will not let me post a link. I would welcome anyone in the Portland Oregon area and Columbia River Gorge who wants to worship and Praise the Lord together with all manner of instruments.

Google: Christian Reggae Welcome, Celebrate, Rejoice
look at the bottom of the page for Catalyst's video. You can get their entire CD at Amazon got about 3 dollars.

My favorite genre is reggae as well (and dancehall)

I highly recommend you try out Stitchie. Especially his last three albums!

I'm looking to play music in the bay area - I play keys (live and studio work) and can sequence backing tracks for you ---
