The “Anti-PowerPoint Party”, which says that it has so far gathered nearly 1,000 members, calculates that €350 billion (£308 billion) could be saved around the world annually by dropping soporific presentations that take people away from real work. In Europe, the APPP says twice-weekly PowerPoint presentations to 296 million workers are costing €110 billion annually — the same as the international bail-out for Greece.

To each his own?

I guess the Swiss are just lucky enough to afford these kind of single-issue, no-sense parties, financially and politically. If you have it alright for the most part, you can focus on single-issues, details, and the small print. If you are a nation very much at the cross-roads/watershed, you have to look at the big picture and choose that elusive "national interest" rather than just your own personal whims. IMO.
