Has anyone read Anna Rountree's Testimony of heaven where she went back and forth about a year or more, and saw God, the Father and Jesus?
How she said she was prepared to get married to Jesus?

If anyone has read it, there are a few confusing things in there which I am asking God about to reveal to me if this is a true testimony.

The book sounds like a bit of romance story in the 'Priestly Bride' one. She really painted Jesus as having intimate feelings for her, which I felt a bit akward reading. How she said Jesus's heart was beating fast when she came close, how Jesus would hold her by the waist when she was going to get married to Him, and so on and so forth.

I need someone to explain this to me, for in the scritprue

Matthew 22:30

29 Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

So how can she say she was given in marriage to Jesus. And how Jesus said she was His beloved and chosen one for Him by the Father?

Also who goes to Heaven over a period of a year back and forth? All the ancient men like Moses, Paul, Isaiah only had one or two trips and that was it. I found like it felt like i was reading a fiction romance book, it just didnt connect with my Spirit as it should.

I'm having mixed feelings by this story. Inputs please.

I tend to agree with this amazon review, about Roundtree's 'The Heaven's Opened'.

I have been greatly encouraged by reading numerous accounts of people who have either clinically died & went to heaven before being resuscitated, or who were caught up to heaven either bodily or in the spirit.

Of the 16 or so books that I have read, this is one of two or three that leave me at least some what unsettled. I am not among those "Bible Answer Man" types who contentiously & flatly reject any & all spiritual encounters, even though the Bible speaks of them as being equally as relevant today as they were 2000 years ago, while condemning all Charismatic & Pentecostal believers to hell as heretics for believing that God still speaks by his Spirit through revelations, dreams, visions & prophecy, & not just the written Word. After all, the Bible itself speaks of these gifts. But I am also not the type of sap who thinks that anything that comes in the name of being a gift of the Spirit or Divine encounter or revelation just has to be God, no questions asked.

In addition, I won't just arbitrarily believe them any more just because the minister or ministers who wrote the forward happen to be people like David "Paul Yongi" Cho, Benny Hinn or his wife, just because they are often correct in their analysis & are anointed men & women of God.

First off, this supposed encounter is not entirely consistent with my understanding of what the Bible says, nor is it consistent with the 11 or 12 other books that seem to be much more credible.

Paul speaks of Divine encounters which are genuine, & he also warns of those which are fabricated by those who want a forum to be recognized as spiritually important individuals without having the certain genuine experiences that they claim they have had. Not to say that I know for sure, but if I were to guess, this would fall into the second category.

It would stand to reason that there would be vast similarities & consistencies between all the genuine accounts, whereas "The Heavens Opened"-Rountree, & "Heaven is so Real"-Thomas, actually seemed to illustrate numerous contradictions while the story's landscape possessed few similarities, with the exception that they are all at least supposed to be referring to the same place. The numerous other apparently credible accounts conversely possessed no contradictions, not only with each other, but with the Bible.

Every other account possessed no instance of death, ageing or decay, & several even mentioned that death, ageing & decay do not exist in Heaven. There is at least one account in each of these books of death (frying a fish to eat in Thomas' "Heaven is so Real,") & ageing & decay (in Rountree's "The Heavens Opened," an older balding angel). In all of the other books, no living thing was ever killed, & all the angels & humans appeared youthful, with the physical features of that of a thirty year old or younger. Even those who died in their elderly years on earth regained their youthfulness when they went to heaven. Every one had a full head of hair, & balding would have been considered a form of decay. This distinction is also consistent with the Bible, which says that "death is swallowed up in victory," (I Cor. 15:54-56) & "there shall be no more death, for the former things have passed away" (Rev. 21:4). These references are referring to the inheritance of the Saints in the Kingdom of Heaven, as well as the age to come.

Here is a list of books & material on Heaven that I have read or reviewed, some of which I think are credible, some which have left me unsettled, & some which I just have to leave with a question mark.

Unsettling: The Heavens Opened-Anna Rountree / Heaven is So Real-Choo Thomas

Credible: Intra Muros, Within the Gates-Rebecca Ruter Springer / Paradise, the Holy City & the Glory of the Throne-Scott Elwood / Visions Beyond the Veil-H.A. Baker / I Died & Went to Heaven-Gary Wood / 90 Minutes in Heaven-Don Piper / Scenes beyond the Grave-Marietta Davis & Gordon Lindsay / 6 Big Big Big Angels-Mary Jo Pennington / Heaven, Close Encounters of the God Kind-Jesse DuPlantis / My Glimpse of Eternity-Betty Maltz / Beyond Death's Door-Maurice Rawlings / Voices from the Edge of Eternity-Thea Carter & Tommy Bates with Perry Stone (DVD) / The Mystery of Paradise-Curtis "Earthquake" Kelley with Perry Stone (DVD) / What Jesus Revealed About Death-Walter Hallam with Perry Stone (DVD) / Questions About Heaven & Paradise-Walter Hallam & Fred Stone with Perry Stone (DVD) / More Secrets of Paradise-Curtis "Earthquake" Kelley & Walter Hallam with Perry Stone (DVD)

Question Mark: A Divine Revelation of Heaven-Mary K Baxter (I would be more inclined to put this in the "Credible" list, but certain things about it left me unsure) / Home is Where the Throne Is-Wayne C. Anderson (Same) / I Saw Heaven-Roberts Lairdon / Caught Up into Paradise-Richard E. Eby (If for no other reason than the Lord did not return for His Bride before the author passed away, which is what he said the Lord told him. There could be extenuating circumstances & reasons consistent with the Bible for this, such as the vessel's disobedience, God extending time because of the prayers &/or repentance of His people, His mercy, as with Jonah & the people of Nineveh, etc., but I am only speculating.)

Overall, I would not with certainty classify this as a genuine eye-witness account of Heaven. I'll admit I could be wrong. I am sure the author is a true believer, but there was also way too much emphasis on her importance & position in God's Kingdom in comparison to the other books that I thought were credible. In the other accounts, there seemed to be much more humility by the author & consistency with Scripture. There were also some just plain bizarre accounts that went way beyond Heavenly & supernatural to extremely weird & far-fetched.

I rely on the Word of God for information about heaven not books others
have written that are contrary to the biblical accounts.

I have read many books about people who give a "heavenly account"
-- some of the accounts are biblical while other accounts are out of line.

I am left with the same feelings after reading 'the priestly bride' account. I am a bit upset with myself that I feel this way, and I want to hear from the Lord regarding this.
I know Jesus could never act intimate or seductive towards anyone, at least not in the way she painted Him.
And she has already said something which is clearly against what the scriptures says which is the Son of man will neither marry nor be wedded. And no one will be marrying in Heaven.

I was trying to stop reading it at a point, but I was weirdly forced to finished reading it. Its a bitter-sweet feeling. If it did not involve the intimacy and the way she said she was chosen for JESUS, I would have accepted the story because I know Jesus loves all of His sheeps (us) and we have been given to Him by the Father.

I really strongly refuse to believe anyone would be chosen SPECIALLY for Jesus in marriage by the Father.

The Jesus kissing her hand, holding her waist, holding her closely, his heart beating fast, his gaze deeply fixed on hers, and the 'burying her head in his neck', losing her breath and all sorts of romantic fiction words just sound so bizarre.

I want this to go away, seems none has read the book.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Hey Shield of Faith, I like your posts man you're being discerning. I know this is a year old but hey I'll post anyways. I've been having some trouble with accounts like Anna's and also another account I read called the Final Quest by Rick Joyner where it talks about a revelation from God that seemed 90% Biblical but the other 10% wasn't. In terms of Anna's account I have only read The Heavens Opened and not her other book the Priestly Bride because I had a feeling it would be all romantic and I honestly dislike that stuff. So I have mixed emotions. Though I haven't read the priestly Bride I know Revelations talks about the New Jerusalem as being dressed as a bride, there are some interpretations that the bride represents all of the believers, but I honestly disagree with the interpretation that Anna herself is the Bride of Jesus, and it does bother me that it uses such intimate language to describe Jesus's feelings towards her. It's not what I feel that makes it non Biblical though, it's if it goes against scripture. I am unsettled, afraid to say it is not from God, and yet afraid to deny it. All I can say is to search for something that goes against scripture. I can't personally check because I have been grounded from looking up these testimonies after telling some friends and family about Linda Ngaujah's (2013) visit to Hell after dying and telli g others about her testimony which is really moving and I do believe is 100% Biblical and had me re-think my walk with God, I recommend you YouTube her testimony ASAP and start spreading the truth. It talks about being Holy for The Lord and how many things Christians think as of "ok" such as having tattoos can land someone in Hell. Watch it for yourself, it even speaks against women wearing earrings etc. (1 Peter 3:3) and it warns of many other things that can lead someone to Hell. Anyways God Bless and I pray everything works out.

I know this is a year old, but I'm more inclined to believe people's testimonies about heaven or the afterlife, NDEs, than I am some religious dogma with an agenda. I find NDE research fascinating. It only confirms most of what religions say about heaven and God anyway, maybe minus the Zeus-like figure ready to strike everyone dead. That's not God.

We need to be careful and we need to test the sources of such information, yes, but also we need to remember that our most high God, Yahwey, is said to never change.

With this in mind, is it sensible to assume that the Holy Bible is the only source of His word?
What reason (other than man mad dogma) do we have to believe He simply stopped providing 'God breathed' information for us?

After browing her personal website, I find her stories and information to be painfully vague and typically pentecostal/charismatic (lots of CAPS and things underlined and lots of exclamation points!! to detract from the fact that there is very little Biblical backup for what she's saying). She tells a story about being present at an "anointing" service that was so powerful, everyone in the room was in some sort of frenzy, then immediately after, they started arguing and bickering because these people got some "God" and these people didn't get any "God" (apparently, there just isn't enough of Him to go around, like a bowl of M&M's). She is an extremely gifted artist (her drawings are beautiful), but I can't help but wonder if a lot of what she "experiences" is her own bountiful imagination.

Then, a little research into her ministry (Christ Jesus Triumphant in NC) shows that they bring in about $70K a year and their assets sit right around half a million dollars. Her website is quick to ask for donations and purchases of her book, but doesn't offer any financial records whatsoever. Pretty tidy, I'd say.

People are always searching, reaching, and seeking for something meaningful, personal, and exciting. They want an emotional high, and they want it regularly. Stuff like this provides that for them, and once you get "hooked" on it, you'll hang onto it at all costs. You want constant "anointing", you want constant manifestations, if you aren't feeling warm and tingly and breathless, that must mean God isn't there anymore. It's no wonder these people shell out their money, their devotion, and their lives. Sadly, walking with God isn't about tingles and swooning and mighty proclamations every other day. It's a quiet, steady, patient, humble, modest walk. It's about quietly and consistently reflecting Him through yourself, not dazzling people and trying to hook them for God using emotional manipulation. Religious hysteria is a very real thing. It's easy to "feel" God when everyone around you is shouting and crying and the pastor's voice is booming in your ear, and the praise music is soaring to deafening heights. But do you "feel" Him in everyday, quiet, mundane moments, too? If not, something's missing.

So- if I came up with a book/account/website/ministry stating anything my vast imagination can come up with then would you possibly believe it too? Especially if I don't tell you that it is a product of my imagination- but I'm selling it to you like this woman? I can be quite convincing if I want to be. Anyone can claim to have dreams and visions- however- tack the words God and Jesus to them and some people will eat that mess up. The best response is to ignore it.

I had an NDE after I saw these and during seeing these and then after. I am still having signs of an NDE now. These pants were shown to me in a vision, and I was hoisted up from an office chair and I looked down at the vision of these kitten pants, and then I had another NDE. That is 5 NDEs in one day. Kittens made it happen. If anyone sees these they should buy 10.

Not only that, but I can't even (and don't want to) imagine how furious God is with people who purposefully misrepresent Him and lead people astray in His name, purely for profit or fame... I wouldn't want to be them when the end comes.
