Does anyone have any other explanation as to how Adam and Eve aquired grandchildren?

Incest was not a sin until God made it one during the exodus.

As a matter of fact, Abraham was Sarah's half-brother.

You are both right. Incest was not forbidden until Exodus. Besides Adam & Eve's grandchildren, where did Cain get his wife? Genesis 4:17? Obviously he must have married his sister.

At this point most people will say "But incest is just wrong. Besides, children from incest have all sorts of deformities?"

Well, like I already said, incest wasn't made wrong until later on in the Bible. Plus, Adam & Eve were the originals. Have you every taken an original document and photocopied it? Then you photocopy the copy and so on? After only a few times of this you end up having a document that has so many mistakes that you can't even read it.

The same thing happens to our genes. So when two people who are closely related (share many mistakes in their genetic code) have a child, then those mistakes become dominant so the child is born deformed.

This is why pure bred dogs tend to have more health problems and why children from parents with different ethnic backgrounds tend to be healthier.

There was no one else to choose from but sisters and brothers for Adam and Eve's children to choose from. Remember they were created perfect and the DNA/gene pool or whatever you call it had not hardly began degrading yet. ITBM alluded to this.
