Interesting article. My question is that if the level of decentralization you talk about occurred, do you think it could lead to thousands of micro-states that would war with one another over borders, resources, and ideology? How could you prevent this?

Great question. First, i think the majority of the country would remain the same and not alter their politics, and so remain part of America.

BUT, I do have a more extensive look at this and it includes responding to objections were it to be fully implemented. It will be published in a week and i will post it here.
