2 Timothy 3:2 ~ Disobedient to Parents...

[The Narrow Way]

"For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy," 2 Timothy 3:2.

This, to me, is one of the strongest evidences we truly live in the last days. The lack of respect children have for their parents and the disobedience of children everywhere is rampant.

And it's not always young children who I see disrespectful to their parents.

Children who are not taught to respect and obey their parents will never respect and obey God.

An author who I respect very much once said something to the effect, "Before you marry a man, watch how he treats his mother. If he treats her with respect, he will respect you. If he treats her with disrespect, that too, will carry over to you."

I think you left out a critical part of the passage:

"Mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be... disobedient to their parents." {2 Timothy 3:1, 2}

And yes, it truly is "one of the strongest evidences we live in the last days."

I think what makes that a sign of being in end times is the fact it represents the worlds leaders right now towards God our Father who is our true Parent.
