It's jurisdictional. For example, Antiochians are fast-free until the Feast of the Ascension.

The "Orthobro" Movement Makes Orthodoxy Look Bad...But Are They Heretical?

I think our bishops need to do a better job avoiding misrepresentation of Orthodox doctrine.

    The Start of WWIII

To be honest, it is not a surprise that Israel would attack Iran. Besides, prophecies in the Old Testament always focused about repentance. That's why when people from Nineveh repented after Jonah told them the city would be destroyed, God decided not to go ahead with the prophesy.

    Ecumenical Patriarch question

The Ecumenical Patriarch has primacy based upon Rome's schism and the Canons of the Council of Chalcedon. He has certain prerogatives because of that primacy but he is not infallible nor has universal jurisdiction.

The "Orthobro" Movement Makes Orthodoxy Look Bad...But Are They Heretical?

Plenty of bishops do not allow Fr. Peter Heers's work to be distributed (even in my town by all parishes) and ROCOR published a statement about him: “Regarding the case of Archpriest Peter Heers, the Synod resolved to remind the clergy and faithful that he is not blessed to serve, preach, or...

    Sister Vassa.... duuuuuude

You are right. Apologies to @E.C. for any offense. I already explained myself so I'm out of this topic since I got nothing more to say about Sister Vassa's situation.

Proposals to restore Eucharistic unity with Ecumenical Patriarchate not supported at UOC meeting

The canonical part is a bit more complicated. Even the Russia Church was de facto independent after Constantinople was flirting with Uniatism and the Fall of the Constantinople. It wasn't until way latter than they became officially autocephalous. I don't support everything the OCU did, and I...

Proposals to restore Eucharistic unity with Ecumenical Patriarchate not supported at UOC meeting

Because Russia destroys their churches and kill their people? In the meantime, Russian priests who protest the war are silenced and statues of Stalin are being elevated. It has nothing to do with the OCU so I don't know why you mention them here.

What are you the KGB? Antioch is in communion with people who recognize "schismatics" like the EP, Greece, Cyprus and Alexandria. Are they in bad standing by not considering them schismatics as well? lol

    Sister Vassa.... duuuuuude

My quote: "You know the OCU is recognized by the Ecumenical Patriarch, Alexandria, Cyprus & Greece? So calling Sister Vassa "schismatic" is not accurate."

    Sister Vassa.... duuuuuude

The Church of Antioch's view is having a Orthodox Council to resolve the situation, so I would refrain from thinking of anyone in Communion with the OCU as non-Orthodox.
